Game has gone downhill since latest update
This game used to be so much fun, and I played it every day since 2019; however, the latest update has made it unplayable. It has completely sucked the joy out of playing, and if you’re a new player, you have zero shot of advancing without spending real money.
Downhill
I used to love this game I’ve been playing for YEARS but now days I am totally uninterested in playing. You have to spend too much money now and no matter how much I spend on challenges I never can unlock the next city they want you to spend wayyyyy too much money, haven’t been able to get past a jet set since 2023.. goodbye Covet Fashion.
Change in Game
This game has been my daily ritual for 5 plus years; however I quit cold turkey a week ago because now all the challenges are “seasonless” and all of the clothes to make the looks cost diamonds. The worst part is now all of the prizes are Covet-branded clothes. I was also spending about $6 to $10 real dollars on this game monthly.
Used to be great
New changes to the game mean all the clothing is ugly AI designs. I loved it when the clothes were all real designer clothes but it is not fun now that it’s poorly rendered, ugly AI tshirts and such. Too bad. It used to be my favorite game.
Blatant Cash Grab
This game used to be fun. A few weeks ago they changed it so that nearly every challenge requires spending real world money to enter. It’s not fun anymore. After finishing the rally I’m in, I’ll probably put the app down. I used to buy the monthly pass because I felt a month of entertainment was worth a few dollars. Now that they’re charging for every little thing with the “seasonless” challenges, it doesn’t seem worth spending more. Greed has ruined another good thing.

Y'all have ruined this game. 2 pieces of AI slop generated clothing for $10???? Getting rid of Modern Mode?? Seasonless challenges?? No new brand partnerships?? Clearly AI generated challenges because none of it makes sense. Suggested props don't make sense, the story doesn't make sense, and the cover image is clearly AI. You also don't bother to offer culture-specific items for culture-specific challenges. If the prompt is to style a Muslim woman, WHYYYY are you not providing the head covering???? So so disappointing. I've played this game since I was in high school. Now I'm nearing 30 and probably going to get rid of this game. I (and quite literally thousands of other people in the subreddit about Covet) would have continued to spend real money on the game but YOU RUINED IT. I know your engagement and sales drop with every new, terrible update. You have the opportunity to fix this by actually listening to your users. But you just wanted a profit, which you were going to get any way!!!, and now your game will likely go under unless y'all check your ego at the door and fix the mess you've created. AI doesn't make you look like a tech savvy game - it makes it look like you are cheap, uncreative, and lazy.
Full of AI
They cancelled all their contracts and apparently replaced their artists with low quality AI. Insulting that they expect people to buy diamonds for such low quality art.

i am so disappointed i’ve been playing this game consistently for around 2-3 years and loved it but getting rid of real designers and replacing them with ai covet basics has made the game boring and uninteresting. the best part about cover was styling with clothes from real designers.
No stars
I wouldn’t even give this game any stars if I could. It used to be great! I came back to playing, and it is such a money grab now. It is very disappointing, so much opportunity wasted by EA games! This game is getting worse by the day. Listen to the players EA games!
