Perfect for everything I need
I’ve been using Cozi for several years now - just the free version. It’s been really handy, but now they have suddenly stopped allowing you to access more than 30 days ahead without paying to upgrade to Gold! Which means I can’t now access all my diary entries past mid-June. The free version only gives you 30 days! Who wants a calendar app that only gives you 30days ahead - absolutely ridiculous!!! They are essentially now making you pay! I would like to ask the developers to let me please have access to my diary entries that I have stored in your app - which is personal data I would like back please!! It’s not on to pull the rug out from under us …. I’m not paying to upgrade because the app is not that great. Whenever I used the shopping list app in a supermarket it never saved my changes (ticked boxes) and often kicked me out. I put up with it as a free app - but it’s not worth upgrading! I will find another free calendar app elsewhere or go back to a paper one - your app is not that great so thinking you can charge everyone for it - hopefully you’ll get a bit of a shock that people will just go elsewhere. Bad decision! Update - it seems Cozi developers have made the decision to reinstate the whole calendar again which is welcomed. I presume this means they have listened to us and realised that charging for a full calendar makes the free version of the calendar (only 30 days) pointless and essential there was no longer a free version of the app that was functional and fit for purpose. I’m happy they have made this decision. They have removed the option to notify another family member when adding a new entry unless you have the gold version which is annoying but I’d rather they do that than remove access to the whole calendar beyond 30 days. Thanks for listening. I have increased my rating from 1 star back to 3 stars. I still have a problem with my lists and when I tick items off my shopping list whilst shopping they don’t stay ticked and come back a few minutes later! Not sure why….but could be the internet in the supermarket possibly.
It would be useful to be able to attach small files eg tickets, pics, docs or to link to other applications such as wallet
Changing so you cannot see past 30 days unless you pay, others apps out there with same functionality and good ease of use without this restriction…. Useless now
Spent a long time deciding whether to move the family to this app… and then paying for it… but so pleased we did. So easy to use - on phone and laptop - by all the family. Love it
No longer worth using the freemium version due to the changes to visibility. Alike many others, I won’t be upgrading my plan. If they needed to make more money out of users to keep this app viable, I’d rather they increased the number of adverts. I’ll have to move to another free option, which is a real shame as I really liked Cozi before the update.
We used this app for us to keep on top of our joint events - holidays, gigs etc. So it was really frustrating to check the app and see it’s changed to only being able to view one month in advance, with no warning (unless you pay, which I don’t want to do) Having to migrate everything over to a different app.
Like almost all recent reviewers, the inability to see my calendar beyond the next 30 days has made the app virtually useless. I will be switching to a different product very soon. I don’t understand why, when there are so many other calendar apps out there offering a free service, you would restrict the single most important function of a calendar-to be able to plan ahead. Short-sighted money grabbing move imo.
Moving as now charging. Better free options now available
Have used this app for years, was brilliant and allowed my ex and I to plan ahead regarding who has the kids. Suddenly, without any notice, they have restricted the calendar view to 30 days without the ability to even see pre-planned events beyond the 30 days unless you pay £20 per year which rises to £40 per year after that. Now useless to me so I’ll be moving to a new free calendar sharing app.
