I’m so glad I found this app! I’ve added in loads of my own and saved recipes & can easily select them to make a meal plan, plan what I need to buy ingredients wise & it’s shared with my partner who can add in some stuff too which is great. Also love the chores list!
The only real function I want from this is the calender so I can input my away from home dates as I am a freelancer that travels with work. I click a date and the app crashes telling me to download most up to date version. I head to app store and there is no update.
This app has the potential to be genuinely life changing, and it does make life and staying organised a whole lot easier already! It just feels a little clunky to use in places, and some functions particularly of to do lists could be smoother, like the ability to relocate an item to a different list, or if it auto remembered what category shopping list items had been assigned to (like Apple’s inbuilt reminders does). As others have said, it is very geared to a US audience in terms of grocery lists, and in general can be a bit clunky (some lag when typing, etc). But the overall idea is incredible, and with a bit more development could be amazing!
I’m really impressed with this app. I use it every day and I couldn’t be without it now. It’s a family planner and much more; I am able keep track of everybody’s appointments and events etc, as well as to keep track of projects and to make lists. I love the folder system as it’s so flexible and you can tailor it to your specific needs. This flexibility is what is missing from many other similar apps, in the past I’ve had to use separate apps for calendar, shopping lists, projects but I am able to do everything I need to with Maple. It is easy to navigate, simple to use, and looks lovely - no intrusive adverts or anything like that. I especially like the chat feature on specific folders and the ability to add users so that the whole family can know what’s going on. Only a couple of criticisms; occasionally when I open the app the bottom menu doesn’t appear so I have to close and open the app again. This is not a huge problem of course. I do find when adding images to notes they are a bit slow to load in so it feels a bit clunky when doing this. I also would find it handy, when adding an event directly from the calendar view, to be able to add the event to a ‘new’ folder while creating the event. Instead of first needing to create a folder and then go to the calendar, add an event and select the folder from the list. This is because a few times I’ve started creating an event and forgotten to create a new folder first, so then ended up having to go back to make a new folder first then go back to the calendar and create the event again. Overall I highly recommend this app! I couldn’t be without it.
Have only just downloaded and is looking promising, I like it's appearance and it seems easy to use, but as someone else has said would love a widget and also an option to link to Apple Watch so can see what's scheduled and tick of tasks from there
Absolutely love the app. Would like the option to add a widget to Home Screen though so I could view calendar without opening the app
it seems like a great app but i think you messed up a bit i can’t make and account evreything seems a bit buggy it wants you to put a password in the email and an email in the name thing and you can’t put a confirmation password but you have too to log in please fix this!
I’ve looked everywhere for a combo of a home management, shared calendar app, habit tracking and task management app that’s easy to learn and not overwhelming to use. I finally found it with Maple. The only thing it’s missing is the ability to use it with my PC. I need an option that I can use and access from anywhere. It’s such a bummer to finally find the perfect organizer to help me manage life as a SAHM but unfortunately I can’t seem to make it work without the ability to use it on my laptop. If and when that happens, I’ll be back!
I loved the old layout on Maple where all of my folders and tools were one size. It looked clean, consistent, and organized! Now, when I look at my folders, the staggering makes my tools look a little bit more hectic and less organized as a whole. I love this app and I don’t want to have to find a new family planner. I wish the developers could give us the option to revert back to the consistent styling they had before! You also used to be able to choose if you wanted a recents tab at the top of your home page, but now it’s just there. Again, I liked the clean style from before, where I could access what I wanted when I wanted, and I could choose what appeared in my folders screen. I would love if the developers would make these new styles an option rather than a forced transition. That would make me sooo happy and I wouldn’t feel so overwhelmed looking at all the recent tools and staggered messy tools in my folders.
