Description
CrontoSign Swiss is an App for e-banking access and transaction authentication.
How it works:
The login and transaction data that you enter in your e-banking are encoded in a colored mosaic. The mosaic is displayed in your e-banking and then photographed using the camera in your smartphone. The data contained in the mosaic and the associated authorization code will be decoded by this app on your phone and displayed for verification. Because your app is activated with a personal key, the mosaic on the screen can be decrypted only by your smartphone. Your smartphone does not require any Internet or mobile network connection.
If needed, CrontoSign Swiss can be installed on multiple smartphones and can also be used with all banks that support CrontoSign Swiss.

Niet gebruikersvriendelijk
Omdat onze bank is overgegaan op dit systeem zijn wij gedwongen om via CrontoSign te bankieren. Dat heeft inmiddels al enkele malen tot gevolg gehad dat we onze bankrekening niet konden inzien en ook niet konden overboeken. Frustrerend. Je bent gedwongen om via 1 apparaat (smartphone of apart apparaat) in te loggen. Wanneer dat kapot gaat of vervangen moet worden kun je nergens meer bij: De oude simkaart ging in de nieuwe smartphone, maar CrontoSign werkte niet meer. Per ongeluk hebben we onlangs de toegang gewist, het systeem heeft geen extra stapje ingebouwd voordat dit gebeurt. Sommige systemen vragen “weet u het zeker?” CrontoSign doet dit niet. Daardoor moet je een nieuw herkenningsmozaïek aanvragen dat per post verstuurd wordt. Dat kost dus enkele dagen als het in het weekend mis gaat.
