Crouton supports importing recipes from almost everywhere! Pull recipes automatically out of websites and just save the bits you need. You can also scan recipes straight out of your recipe book using AI and OCR
PLAN YOUR WEEK
With your favourite recipes on hand, Crouton makes it very easy to plan your meals for the week (or even long into the future). If you’re stuck for recipe ideas let Crouton automatically generate the meal plan from your organized dinner recipes.
STEP BY STEP MODE
Crouton offers a unique step by step mode. Focus on one recipe step at time as you cook, you can tap on ingredients within a step to get the quantity (saves you jumping back and forth between the steps and ingredients). With hands free mode you can move between steps without touching your device! Perfect for when you have messy hands.
TIMERS
Start timers with a tap. Crouton detects times within recipes and lets you start timers straight from the steps. A convenient heads up display keeps the times front of mind while you continue to use the app.
GROCERY LISTS
Create shopping lists directly from your recipes, easily copy just the ingredients you need to your list. Integrates with Reminders for convenient access. Your groceries have never been easier!
CLOUD SYNCING
All of your recipes are conveniently synced between all of your devices using iCloud.
RECIPE FEEDS
Save your favourite recipe RSS feeds into Crouton to see new recipes as they’re published from your favourite blogs.

Great but lacking translations
Its a pretty good app, the best recipe app I have used actually. I love the UI and how the ingredients connect with the steps and everything. A recommendation would be to add other languages (Spanish) and maybe optional steps in the recipes or optional ingredients, or even substitutes for ingredients you don't have.

Aplicación casi perfecta
Llevo varios días utilizando la aplicación y me gusta mucho. También soy usuario de Mela y de Paprika 3. En la mayoría de ocasiones puedo compartir recetas unos con otros y eso me gusta. La quinta estrella para cuando se implemente el español como idioma y con la introducción de un apartado de "Descripción" que podamos dar una explicación de la receta antes de poner los ingredientes (como ocurre en otras aplicaciones). Buen trabajo ☺️
Bad in-app purchase practice
Paid for Crouton+ to support future development and the creator added another functionality called “Crouton Discover” as a a SUBSCRIPTION on top of that. As an early supporter I feel this is a disrespect. Come on, lots of similar apps support this functionality already and for free and you are paywalling people that already have supported you financially for it.

Best app, needs a few additions but still the best by far
Please add web accessibility outside of a Mac app. I work on windows at work and I’d love to browse my recipes in my downtime to decide dinner. Please allow other recipes to be linked at the bottom of the recipes. This is used for recommending or remembering sides that go with that dish by linking them to your other recipes for those sides. Ideal with small icons that show the picture you have saved for that sides recipe for easy visual.
