Bad
Having to swipe or click back 5-7 times just to return to the main screen is bad design.
Logged scores and PRs aren’t to be seen unless you go back and swipe another hundred times.
Videos don’t show up on Galaxy 10.
Such a shame as it could be very good, currently not worth £5 let alone £40
Not good!
I never write reviews as a rule.. But having paid c€400 for annual membership I’ve had nothing but problems it saddens me to say. Programming itself is of course good!
But the app is inversely rubbish honestly. In the last four days it has ‘freaked out’ three times, then just freezes.
Only solution is to delete and download it again. Obviously that’s nonsense and the support is apologetic but comes up short in terms of solutions.
Leaves me sorely disappointed, especially given the c$400 I’ve spent.. 😏
Great Idea execution needs work
The idea of this app is great and it does some good stuff like converting to kg automatically and the program is great as always. But the UI could use some work as could use work as stated in other reviews. My main issue is I can’t even get it to open up sometimes, this may have something to do with my old phone more than the app though.
Not user friendly
This app is not very easy to navigate through. When swiping from left to right it often reverts back to the ‘warm up’ page therefore not allowing you to view the actual workout. It’s easier to scroll
Down 1 individual page for all the days workouts and tap For more rather than having to constantly swipe left. Even viewing the next days programming is a pain. A simple swipe for the next days programming would work bette rather that tapping and scrolling for the date you are Looking for. This app needs work
Appreciate the new app but it’s not quite there yet!
Love the look of the new app and it’s nice to have one dedicated to comptrain but I feel like it’s missing quite a bit as it is right now and the user experience doesn’t flow with the info/use that we need. This is my opinion so YMMV.
This might seem like a long list below, but I always feel that good feedback (esp as a dev myself) is better than vague feedback!!
What I like:
- automatically calculated percentages in either one/Kgs 🙌 Thankyou! This saves me jotting everything down on paper beforehand
- ability to display weights in either kgs/ibs
What I find uncomfortable:
- information density is a bit rough. Headers are too big / too much dead space leading to more scrolling (sometimes with ux less isn’t more for “productivity” apps)
- can’t see your inputted score unless you edit or go to leaderboard
- can’t see how you’ve done on the leaderboard past the top 10 so unable to compare to others in your usual range
- No easy way to see the days workout requirement.
- Really hard to navigate the week or see an overview of future or past workouts/scores etc
- a lot of horizontal scrolling (and nested horizontal scrolling)
- lacking that “personal” feel. Seeing the coaches post up the workouts, their feedback, fistbumps from other members and interaction with them takes a way that CF/CT level of togetherness.
What’s missing:
- can’t edit personal records without it adding another record
- there’s no personal records for 3/5/10rm
- mentioned above, lack of day overview or week overview
- Historical view
I love the app so I’ll use both CT and sugarwod to meet my needs 👏
