Very Glitchy

It’s sometimes works, sometimes not. When deleting and installing again it doesn’t allow signing in. It’s caused some serious headaches - but is convenient and nice when it works well, which seems rare. I wish they would fix it.

Unable to Login

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. It used to work, but ever since I requested to change my password, it won’t let me log in anymore. It keeps saying my credentials are invalid, but they’re not.

Somewhat Useful

As many have stated, the application's biggest problem is the inability to make requests a day or two before the appointment. For many of us, -that is simply how our appointments work-, and making it a hassle to make them through the app, oftentimes impossible for no good reason, does not encourage us to use it. I've had the app tell me upwards of almost a week in advance that it can't handle the request. It's absurd! For a few months now, the app has also constantly gotten my address number wrong and I have to correct it every time. If I make a mistake, whoops, wrong house! It shouldn't be wrong in the first place, it was correct when I first started using it.. Also, considering Call the Car and the ride shares spam us so many reminders - at freaking midnight!! I mean why?! - there is zero use in the app having the messages too. They take forever to delete and build up quickly. Every time I start finding the app useful, mainly for long in advance appointments, something will remind me that it is barely usable at times. I have an appointment I need to get to in three days that was just confirmed by my provider, and the app is telling me the time is invalid. That is unacceptable.

API is awful, uses location when dismissed in app launcher.

Ok, there is no point in scheduling your rides with callthecar through the app. It will always tell you to schedule your ride with them over the phone. That’s the sign of trash API. Finally, even though you choose to only use location when using the app, it will use location while the app is dismissed in the app try. If I could give -5 stars, I would.

App FREEZES, Becomes Unusable

How annoying. I just downloaded and installed this app. The first time I tried to request a ride the service froze and made it impossible for me to proceed or to go back. This is very frustrating. I don’t see how I can use this app. I must, I suppose, simply call the operator to reserve my rides. Kind of defeats the purpose of the app, doesn’t it?

Too slow

Phoenix_44 on

This app provides the convenience of booking rides fairly easily but it runs so slow. And make sure you use email of the person you’re booking rides for because there’s no way to change it later. I made an account with my email for my son and try calling several times to change my son’s profile to his email now that he’s older so I could create a profile for me under my email and they can’t change it in their system. Also don’t like that it takes so long to delete the messages in the app inbox. You can only select one at a time and then have to wait for it to process before it deletes.

Appointment time does not changed

I tried to make an appointment through the app, but the appointment time did not change, so I have to make a call every time. However, I satisfied with the check the my reservation and the will call function

No, go for me on

It’s been 3 months and the call center keeps saying there’s a glitch with getting the validation code sent to email. Okay…. Fix it then!!!!!! 🤬🤬🤬

Having issues on iphonex

ChinitaLidia on

The app keeps rebooting on its own, I get as far as trying to adjust the time for the appointment and the time doesn’t adjust, and by the 2nd or 3rd time of trying to confirm the time the app just closes itself and then I have to sign back in and do that process again just for the app to close up on its own again. Basically, I can’t get past the time set up part - sigh- Can you please fix this issue? Thanks!
