Cup of Sugar is a local marketplace for food - from extra packaged and prepared food (baked and cooked) to excess garden produce and groceries - founded in 2022 by locavores, and omnivores; bakers and makers; all an eccentric crew of hungry, passionate, and adventurous eaters.

We started the company because of a strong desire to reduce food waste; because we were tired of ordering food from the same restaurants (and paying high fees) for food delivery apps; and because we wanted to discover what kinds of interesting and delicious dishes our neighbors are cooking up.

This is such a fantastic idea. This app is so useful and amazing, things like this make me happy😊 everything is homemade and looks delicious❤️

Great idea!

Have had a great time with the app, came through in a pinch when I needed some starter right before thanksgiving! Fun to explore around and see what unique ingredients I could try using as well.

This app is such a good idea. I love the concept and how simple it is to use. I’ve bought several items already and get so excited to see what new food pops up every day. Love it!!

More friends and less food waste

Downloaded this app bc I travel so often that my groceries either go to waste or I don’t have time to get to the grocery store. So nice to be able to post food and have my neighbors take it off my hands! Love that it’s free to use too. I think this app will only get better the more people are on it.

Fantastic app

Super excited to start getting to know my community at large through this app. I think the idea of walking down the block to pick up some cookies or fresh bread from a neighbor is absolutely genius. Please download so we can get this party started!

Love to cook, but hate waste. Get this app.

If you're anything like me you end up letting perfectly good food go bad because you can't use it in time. Now you don't need to put unused ingredients in the trash, just find them a new home with Cup of Sugar!

Been waiting for an app like this for a long time! Already purchased some sourdough bagels and lentil soup from a person down the street! It’s great and so excited for more people to join in.
