Every dog has its day. In the case of Google+ that day has long gone. I suspect Google+ won't be sorely missed when Google retires it on the 2nd of April. Still, I do find it a useful platform for sharing articles and that sort of stuff. But it's not as if there's a shortage of alternatives to what it offers out there. In light of recent news of its security flaws, I guess it's time to move on.

So every time you update any Google app, you have to sign in again. Why? I was logged in when I updated it, from the same phone I signed in from it on the last update. It’s just really annoying and always makes me push the update a few weeks, cause I really question the reason for it. Either stop with the constant sign in or ease up on your update frequency. And yeah, I already done the whole “Stay signed in”, it works great, up until a new update.

Full of spam comments and trolls

Google must have completely given up on google+ and left it to rot. There is no evidence of anyone being responsible for this product. Why would I want to see EVERYONE'S comment on ANY item from publications I subscribe to? The was g+ is set up, I have to wade through a cesspool of moronic and hateful comments on just about any news item, and often stumble on stuff that is completely inappropriate in the comments. Google is great at filtering spam from mail, but unable to filter spam from google+ comments, where people and bots hawk everything from work-from-home schemes to miracle cures and Nigerian fortunes. It's ridiculous. If ANYONE at google were paying any kind of attention they would stick on a spam filter and let users decide not to see comments from people not already in their circles , but they way this is set up, you get the whole trollscape right onto your front page. The functionality hasn't been updated in years, and now the fringe communities online have taken over the whole platform, forcing normal people to give up. google+ team, if you even exist(?!), you need to clean up this platform n-o-w. NOW!

An app that was once super has gradually changed into something totally different. Can't use it for anything besides just stare at it.

I love google and I use it frequently to post my Picts and to check out my friends YouTube vids amongst other things I love the many different forums to choose from, different community's, of art and technology updates, food and recipes, it's so much to be inspired by on google, and I like to inspire others, it's a great app and I recommend it to anyone who wishes to expand their horizon and find likeminded people ✌🏼🌹❤️✨
