## Customer App Description
The Zoho Assist - Customer app enables you to receive remote support directly from a trusted technician.
1. With the Zoho Assist - Customer app, you can let technicians look at your iPhone remotely. The first thing you need to do is to request your technician for a remote session.
2. The technician will then send you a nine-digit session key. This is to ensure that each session is safe and secure. Open the Zoho Assist - Customer app and enter the session key.
3. You can then share your screens with the technician at the other end.
4. After going through the screens and getting an idea of the problem, the technician can communicate with you through the in-app chat. This will be ideal when the technician wants to send you instructions or ask you for quick clarifications.
5. Although you'll be sharing your screen directly with the technician, you're always in control as you can choose to stop/resume screen sharing at any time.
6. Additionally, you can configure your iOS device for unattended access by the trusted technician at any time.
7. During an ongoing remote support or unattended access session, technicians and customers can send or receive files of up to 2 GB using the File Transfer option.

I needed a receipt from Booking.com. I called a number I found on the internet and got called back by a German number. They wanted me to download the App for authentication and made me transfer 370€. 

Got sceptical, ended the call and blocked my credit card. 

Question to Zoho Support:

What does the app do? Did they only see the screen or can they steal my data saved on my iPhone???

If there are so many comments regarding scam, a serious company should do something about it!!!!!

Jedenfalls, wenn sie jemand auffordert die App zu laden, müssen sie sicher sein für was es genutzt wird!

Eine Buchung über Booking COM sollte telefonisch geändert werden. Die im Netz angegebene Service Telefonnummer in Deutschland führte zu einem Ausländer, der detaillierte Kenntnisse über den Vorgang und die Buchungsnummer hatte. Zum Ändern der Buchung würde er die Buchung stornieren, das Geld würde mir überwiesen werden. Für die neue Buchung müsste ich sofort per Überweisung bezahlen. Dann ähnliches Vorgehen: ich sollte diese App installieren, Personalausweis wurde eingescannt, Links wurden mir zugesandt. Nach Abbruch des Gesprächs wurde ich ebenfalls zurückgerufen, diesmal von einer  Mobilnummer aus England und dann noch einmal anonym.

Ich wollte GLS anrufen und bin bei den Betrügern gelandet. Ich habe die App während des Gesprächs installiert und natürlich nicht überprüft. Mein Paket ist verloren gegangen und die haben sich entschuldigt und wollen mir den Betrag ersetzten. Dafür sollte ich meinen Perso fotografieren und meine Kartennummer angeben. Zum Schluss sollte ich über Applepay bestätigen. Da stand dann 999€. Das habe ich nicht gemacht und er wollte mich dann überreden. Ich habe aufgelegt und wurde dann anonym zurückgerufen. Das Gespräch habe ich wieder beendet.

Nicht runterladen!!! Wurde gerade fast gescamt, der Betreiber hat sich als Mitarbeiter von Booking.com ausgegeben und wollte, dass ich für eine Erstattung diese App runterlade. Anschließend sollte ich erlauben, dass er Zugriff auf mein Handy erhält. Mir kam dies sehr suspekt vor, weshalb ich die App nebenbei gegooglelt habe und gelesen habe, dass die App von Betrügern genutzt wird. Der Mann am Telefon wurde während der Wartezeit schon sehr aufdringlich. Ich habe das Gespräch dann beendet und hoffe, dass ohne Freigabe nichts weiter passiert.
