Is Cut the Rope 3 legit?
🤔 The Cut the Rope 3 app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I love Cut the Rope series since the very first entry and I think the third game is my most favorite one so far. Because everything what’ve worked in the previous games is back and even better. Everything is super smooth, physics works great, old and also new mechanics are really enjoyable and intuitive, there’s enough content and puzzles are just so well balanced - even if there is some challenging level, I never get stuck for too long and the solution makes perfect sense. And on top of all of this, thanks to the addition of Om Nom’s child, the whole adventure is even more heartwarming and relaxing. Perfectly designed and very addictive game, thank you developers!
NO CANDY?
This is very sad. This is end of an era. No candy in Cut the Rope is unacceptable.

Perfect Sequel
I was looking at Apple Arcade for some new games a while back and came across this and thought about the original from years ago. Decided to give it a try and I enjoyed all of it. In the past, I thought there were some levels that were ruthlessly difficult to the point where you couldn’t get 3 stars without a walkthrough showing you everything. This sequel is accessible to anyone, which isn’t to say that all of these puzzles are interesting. I appreciate the new whip mechanic that is in most of the levels which allows you to create some unexpected results. (Just be careful because the cog whip hook that pulls you in has a very slim chance to lock you in place, but is very uncommon, and worst comes to worst you can restart the level which doesn’t take very long). Overall, nothing bad to say. I was a bit disheartened with its length, but seeing as they still regularly update it (at first the cap was 360, then ~432, now it’s 531, and I anticipate it expanding a bit more in the near future). That being my only real complaint they’re already addressing, 5 stars. If you have the Apple Arcade already, then there’s no reason NOT to get this.
Simple Fun
Just a note before purchasing. There is no longer the candy, it is replaced by on noms kid. This isn’t a bad thing though because he can use a lasso, climb on ropes, and he shows a lot more personality. The levels aren’t super hard, there actually quite simple. Most of the time the first thing that comes to mind is what actually is the answer. I like the way the game looks, the models are fresh, the mommies are so cute, and the backrounds look very good. The new updates are pretty fun, they add new concepts, mommies, and levels. The recent update, 1.3, is pretty cool. I love the new concept with the stone sinking.
Issues:
It’s kinda easy, and I stop playing it once I beat every level. And even though 500 sounds like a lot, it only takes like 4 hours. Sometimes solution to levels can be just luck.
P.S. Please don’t only read the Issues, the game is super fun, and once your done beating it you can just delete it.
Solid gameplay, some annoyances
Classic cut the rope, if you've played the others you know what to expect. Somewhat bland level design but overall serviceable gameplay.
The HUGE annoyance is every 4 levels you have to watch the same unskippable 15 second cutscene, then get booted out to the main menu, press play, watch another 10 second unskippable cutscene and then you can play again. AND THEY'RE ALL THE SAME. Ridiculously annoying to the point I don't plan on finishing this game. Who thought these were a good idea???
Good, not great
So I like that I could get 3 stars on all levels, but, 1) too many kid cute animations…some games used to let you skip animations by tapping on them, give us a way to go forward or speed up or delete slow silly, repetitive animations that add nothing to the game. 2) you supposedly added 18 levels but I can find no way to get to them, also there is a random factor, too random, don’t know what will be next and can be a level I’ve already completed, needs more organization to it.
