D-Link Wi-Fi

App is buggy and doesn’t work most of the time. Need to reopen multiple times before it leads to the home page. The fun doesn’t stop there!! Have to factory reset the routers every 2 months or so as the secondary mesh unit doesn’t want to stay connected to the main one :) Excellent hardware and software by this fantastic company!! Seriously 0/10. Would rather spend more for Linksys or ASUS than dealing with this subpar product.

Won’t buy anything from D-Link again.

Hi, after the update of the app. I try to open app with connecting to my device, took very long to open up the app with connecting message “locally accessing to your device” can’t open the app for more than 10min. Please do something.

Mesh range extender does not maintain a stable connection. It kicks me off several times per hour. I have used the app to “repair” numerous times but the problems continue. I worked with the D-link online chat team and followed their instructions, using the web based interface which they said worked better than the app. Still having problems. Will return this product and cannot recommend.

Difficult to set up. Hotline support in Singapore until 6pm only. Unlike some other network company which is 24 hours

Bought dlink mesh wifi. This app is very buggy. I am using extender mode and it shows wrong number of clients. Some show unknown device on and off.

26 Dec 2020: After the latest update for the D-Link app, the D-Link Defend is not working. A window will pop-up saying SOMETHING WENT WRONG. TRY LATER. Update, 5 days later: D-Link Defend still having the same issue. 10 January 2021. I deleted the app and reinstall it again. The app is working fine now.

Completed setup within 5-10mins. Simple and easy as compared to other brand.
