Data Usage Pro

Similar to the other review on this page, I have also been a long time user of Data Usage Pro. I have used it for about 4 years and it has worked great. HOWEVER, as of iOS 11, the developers have not updated the app and if you enable notifications or location services within the app your iDevice will immediately crash and get stuck in a crashing loop! The only way I could resolve this was to reset all my settings which is very annoying. Developers, please fix your app otherwise it should be removed from the App Store entirely for containing such a critical error.

I have been a long time user of Data Usage Pro and have been quite satisfied with it until recently. Today both my 6s, which was fully re-installed from the ground up four weeks ago, started crashing badly. I couldn't even open the clock app! My wife's 5s had the exact same problem. I reset her phone back to factory settings, re-installed all her apps and everything was fine until I went in and configured Data Usage Pro. Right after it asked me to enable Location Services the phone reset! The clock app wouldn't open again either. I immediately deleted Data Usage Pro and phone was OK. Clock app worked again also. It is highly likely that the Location Services API changed with iOS11 so you might want to look into that. Until you do I can no longer use your app or recommend it to my friends. :-(

Awkward interface, not a straightforward user friendly screen and a very simple function. It does not do a thing more or less. So I looked for a better App, found 'smartapp' Smartapp has more features and a more intuitive interface. Much easier to read and understand.

Practical and helpful, does what it promises and does it well. A great, detailed way to keep track of your data. I especially like the widget it comes with.

It's very useful and accurate if you want to monitor data usage on the phone. Wireless works but not accurate as you can use another wifi at work and hence the inaccuracy. But still love it and five stars to the developer

Everything works perfectly, except if I have the widget active at all for some reason it resets custom amount of data used :(

It's very good to have and works great very accurate I use it on my iPhone and have never gone over my data allowance on any device thanks to this app

Useless.... don't bother. You'd have better chance throwing a dart, all while wearing a blindfold to guess your cell or wifi usage. Wasted my money, Save yours. Namaste.
