I booked a room via the app and received a confirmation email, yet upon arrival at the hotel the front desk told me they had no room available for me.
100% SCAM! DO NOT USE! This company is a total scam. I made a reservation and the hotel had zero record of it despite my confirmation email. I was told I had free cancellation but still had to block their charge of my account through my bank. You are NOT getting what you are paying for. DO NOT TRUST THEM. When I tried to call I was redirected to an email. I could not speak with an actual person. I will never be using this app again and will be spreading this message wide and far until this company is taken down.

The app now collects $5 when you make a reservation. Hotels are not honoring the reservations from Dayuse and you don’t get your money back. Too bad this app used to be good.
Our cruise ended yesterday and we had 12 hrs until our flight home. Decided to try Dayuse rather than sit in the airport with all of our luggage. Got a hotel room 10 mins from airport (with shuttle service). Worked out great and we were able to relax comfortably until time to head to the airport. We will definitely use this again!

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Dayuse recently. I needed a private space (away from my workplace) to take a private Zoom appointment with my doctor. This was an important medical appointment with a doctor who is heavily sought after, and so missing the appointment meant I could not get back on her schedule for months. I booked a room with Dayuse from 12 pm - 6 pm (my appointment was at 4 pm) and I showed up to the hotel (Times Square Hilton) from work at 3 pm, hoping this was more than enough time to get into my room in time for the appointment… nope! Denied! As I appear at the Hilton, what I encountered was absolute pandemonium. I saw the longest line of what appeared to be stranded arrivers (with suitcases, children, you name it) with a line leading all the way from reception back to the elevator. I waited literally 70 minutes to get up to a receptionist (this is a hotel that supposedly had 5-stars by Dayuse’s useless rating/review system). At 4:10 pm (as my doctor was informing me that if I start our appointment any later, my appointment would be canceled and I’d incur a personal penalty fee, no insurance coverage), I finally get up front to the rudest receptionist who asks me my name and how many nights I’m checking in for. Apparently they had 0 records at all of my reservation!! It appears that Dayuse had done absolutely nothing to inform them that I was coming and had a booking. I showed him my confirmed reservation on the day use app and he said he knew nothing about it and would have to get his manager (who also couldn’t find anything). They had me wait aside while they managed the long line behind me, but by about 4:20 pm it was too late and I just thanked the hotel staff for their time and left, incurring the non refundable doctors penalty and missing a much needed appointment for another month! Trying to reach Dayuse multiple times by phone and by email led to absolutely nobody. Dayuse is unreliable, avoid it all costs.
Very bad business. They only publish the good reviews. You never know about the hotel and they are quite dishonest. Deleted the app and complaint to BBB after a bad experience in Miami. Will not care if something happen. You can always call the hotel and ask them for day rooms. Every hotel has those no need to do it through them.
Leaving Norwegian cruise in Seattle and have 12 till flight. I was nervous about using this new app. Every time I tried to call the hotel to confirm my reservations I would get a centralized reservation desk who wouldn’t know anything about it. I figured the worst was I could get to the hotel and then have to take Lyft and spend 12 hours in the airport if they didn’t know anything about it. I walked up to the desk and the girl knew immediately. I was there for Dayuse. I obviously still had my Norwegian badge on. We are staying at the Radisson across the street from the airport. Very nice hotel room was ready. Just make your reservations in advance. Don’t try to reserve it right off the ship. People who have made last-minute arrangements off the ship usually have to wait a little bit for a room to be cleaned.
