DEAD CITY Text Adventure Lite

Good engaging story, character seems quite well rounded. A little bit linear and you have to ignore some small grammar errors but all in all a good little game. Definitely worth the price!

I enjoyed the game for the little time it lasted but it was pretty straightforward. Nothing intriguing happened. Walk from A to B in a zombie apocalypse. The end.

I'm giving this game 5 stars as the experience you get in this game is so worth it.The death scenes are amazing the choices are amazing and there are multiple endings.Easy 5 stars.

First of all, it’s not a bad game. Sam was likeable and I enjoyed our time together in the wasteland. Story was somewhat predictable but I liked the little trivial here and there that you only discover when you replay the game and explore other pathways. It was quite a short game though, especially for anyone (myself included) that payed extra for the skip function, which I kind of regret doing that - I think it robed some elements from the game. I played Duskwood before this game and although the world of Dead City is not as well built and large as Duskwood, it was still a very pleasant experience and you can admire the effective use of text from the team. For a text based adventure game I understand the limitation in story telling that there can’t be too many diverging paths and there has to be meeting points for these lines, otherwise it will become too big and inevitably will have too many holes that the world just won’t stand anymore. What I don’t like is the way the game “guide” you to these points. You are presented with option A and B, and there are so many instances that when you choose A, Sam will immediately says “nah that’s not a good idea lets go B”. Well then what’s the point of presenting the players with choices in the first place? I felt shoehorned into the endings/consequences and didn’t feel like I impact Sam’s journey that much. Surely there can be more subtle way to do that instead of an in-your-face “I will still do B even if you chose A”.

I've been playing for a little and yes it's really good. One question can you call the character? There's a call button but I can't use it is it possible to use?

Hello. First things first. Free game i enjoyed playing it. But but i’m 25++ for me these text in games whit shouting signs in wrong place and character replaying you back with the smiles something rly ? Losing all sense of scariness when you talking with character it looks like he’s messing around . If you would be in situation like this i doubt someone will text something with smiles. But overall you doing good job u are on the right track. English is not my first language sorry for mistakes.
