Decent Sampler Reviews

Is this supposed to happen?

keyboard crowcat on

United States

There is a problem with earthquake pad 02. I tried making a song with it and it was glitching out every time I played it two or three times. nothings happening with the percussion sounds yet but it's all probably in the pads.

How do I make my own library with this?

Drum and Bum on

United States

This is probably a must have despite the gigabytes, but it seems like it’s possible to make a library. Is it possible on this version or do I need the desktop Mac plugin and how would I add the library from there?

Great samples to play from but unable to load app 1/2 time

Sounds great. Very large assortment sounds and instruments. Works well with Logic Pro on iPad except some projects need to be loaded, quit and then restarted to get the app to show up, fairly frustrating

This is a amazing sampler host app, just a few problems

wooocats on

United States

This is a amazing app to load samplers in its just the auv3 part of this app likes to crash out of no where. Would it be ok if you would be able to fix the crashing on the auv3 side.

The best AUV3 you can get on iOS for acoustic instruments

Kibble Chewer on

United States

Super underrated! Not only does the app have some fantastic free instruments, but it also has hundreds more online that you can download for this app. An awesome open platform.

Keeps getting better

This is a nice simple sample player. I’d love to see a filter stage and a more flexible envelope, but it does what it does well. There have been some frustrating bugs that affected usability, but the developer has been shipping lots of bug fix updates, so it’s rapidly improving.

Requires registration that won’t complete

Keeps saying invalid email address even though I put in several valid email addresses to try. Can’t use without registering and can’t register.

Dedication to improvements

At first, I kind of hated this thing. Lots of bugs and crashes. But this developer continues to send updates to the app to make it better, and it sure has. Dont unzip folders from pianobook if you’re on an ipad, it works best in DS if you use the zipped folders from pianobook. I have hope this app again, thanks to dev for keeping those updates comin!

Keeps getting better

There have been some hiccups, but it’s updated frequently. It’s a great alternative to kontakt on iOS since many free piano-book libraries support ds, including Dan Keen’s orchestral swells.

So much potential

I cannot WAIT for this to be a nice and stable sampler in the future! Currently, it’s pretty meh though.
