Underrated mindfulness app
I absolutely love this app. Declutter the Mind has made it easy for me to build and sustain a daily meditation practice. I have dealt with anxiety and depression since my youth and the simple act of building healthy habits such as a daily meditation practice with Declutter the Mind has helped immensely. The sheer volume of free guided meditations make this app a winner. The only, and I mean only, reason I’m not giving the app five stars is because it seems that the developers have removed the ability to record mindful minutes with this app and sync to Apple Health. That was a feature I loved and regularly used and in conjunction with my Apple Watch, made it very easy to make sure I was on track with my practice and being consistent with my mindful minutes. Please guys, bring this feature back!
aww i just wanted to message the devs and say that i miss being able to select from multiple meditation lengths from before the new redesign. i’ve always appreciated the clean UI across platforms, but i miss that feature alot! ty for a great app, i use it every morning.
I’ve been calling on The Lord for help for some time now, I’m 29 and been abusing weed for over 12 years. (Abusing and smoking are 2 different things) I smoked every morning before work, during, and a lot more after for years. I took a day (kinda hard) to clean my mind without smoking for once, and I called to The Lord again and started to realize I need to love myself before others cause I’ve never been happy with me, yet I was trying to help and please others. So I googled “how to be happy” and this app came up. With the help of God, I started to use this app to try to meditate for a change. I’m a dude so I thought it was more of a female thing for some stereotypical reason. But this app points out what bothers most people and has all kinds of categories to help. I got the free version, I don’t like to spend money on apps so I’m not saying buy anything from it, but the free advice and meditation guide that helps you learn it is really a game changer in my life. Along with music, positive mind set and of course Christs love for us. You have to call on God first and the rest will be all good man. Try to app out if you’ve been a depressed pothead for years. May be too soon to speak but I’ve used less than a hour of this apps time and I feel great. Thank the Lord.
I’ve been this apps videos on YouTube for a year or two now and I can say, that they are the better compared to some other app meditations. Unlike the app called calm, he lets to actually meditate in silence more. (I just think some apps talk to much) His guides you through the process still. He has also helped me with his mediations for if you’re sad or angry with what he says through our mediation guide.
There are many meditations available even in the free version. With the subscription you also have access to courses on specific topics that have 30 day sequences. The male voice is calm and amd pleasant.
So many to choose from. For myself personally, no need to subscribe.
I never had problems with this before. But the last couple weeks, the meditations start and stop. I deleted and redownloaded the app and lost all my tracked time and it didn’t even help with the issue. I have relied on this to help me in times of need and lately it just adds frustration at times
I have used many sites over the years and this is one of the best. Easy guided meditations where you can select the time and theme you prefer. Facilitator’s voice is pleasing to listen to, and does not talk too much.
My therapist recommended I find some guided meditation online and so I checked a few apps. I found this app to be the best by far. You can find specific practices with ease and they have not failed to put me in a better headspace. I’m typically not one to leave reviews, but you can tell this app was made by people who genuinely want to help.
