For free, you can have a very similar experience to what this app offers by searching for “inspirational quotes” or “life advice or something in any web browser. The only thing you’d be missing out on is a few paragraphs superseding the quote that explain what the quote means and how to take it’s advice. However, these paragraphs are very well written such that they so briefly and clearly explain the concept in a way where the information sticks and I do not have to worry about re-reading it again to understand the concept. The information is basically unforgettable because of how clear and short the paragraphs are, so it earns back a few stars from me for that!

There’s a pro version to the app but the free version is amazing alone. Theres not much to the pro that you’re missing out except for like saving stuff and reading more since you are limited on how much you can read a day, but even then the free version offers enough to enjoy a good read everyday. They recommend amazing books based on preference, and they give you achievements aswell which is satisfying coming from playing video games my pre-adult life. The summaries are a1 and offer a good insight. I have 0 complaints. Anyone who gives lower than 5 is selfish and has high expectations for a replacement for replacing addicted scrolling habits. I used to love this app until the newest update,what is the point of literally making listen to yap respectfully, a pro feature it was so useful but with literally any app they just want your money

Okay, I came across an ad promoting that this app would be a good replacement for social media. Being the person I am I would love to replace social media with something productive. Here’s the issue. No one’s going to flood this app if you charge them. I instantly was turned off from the app the second I saw a payment option.

There is a lot of male representation and even suggested . I think having female representation would be helpful and expand knowledge to create different perspectives .

It’s just very short snippets. You have to read each one in the in the time they tell you in order to get credit for reading each snippet. So if you’re a fast reader or already familiar with the snippet you have to wait for it to think you’re done reading to get credit. Then, you have to read a certain number of things in order to get to the next level. I paid $50 for a Pro subscription with limitations. I want to read more than a few lines to a paragraph sometimes. Plus the app UI is not good. There’s no Home button so you have to back button over all the things you’ve read to get back to the main screen. An lastly it just feels like they think i need to read about life hacks and motivation. Even when i went into Philosophy it’s just 7 lines from Socrates. Wish i could get my money back :(
