I hardly ever write app reviews. In 2024, I shouldn’t have to write a review for a billion dollar corporations app that is titled “needs work” but here the truth. The app isn’t great. You have to hope that people at the stores read your special notes because you can’t customize orders well enough. What am I talking about? You can’t even hold mayo on a burger, you have to type a memo for it and hope it comes out right. Billion dollar corporation- work on the app!

Really like new update accepts Apple Pay I like food but previous whenever I try ordering app would reset payment details new version is working better and Apple Pay works that just make order do much easy.

Please, do not waste your time on this app! Just go into the restaurant and order your food and wait for it. The only thing this app is good for ordering ahead, and that is subject to the whims of the gods! It will not honor coupons, it will not apply your coupons, it will not honor coupons that it offers you in the app. I’m not sure if it’s a bug in the system or if it is designed this way. But I am over it!

I love Denny’s and I go pretty often but sometimes I just like to order to go but the app is so difficult to use and navigate that it doesn’t feel worth it sometimes. If I press on a category and decide I don’t want that I have to completely exit from the menu altogether and it’s such a hassle. Ordering food off an app should be quick and easy but Denny’s makes it a headache.

This has to be the worst app I have ever used! I have never had a good experience using it and it makes me not want to ever eat at Denny’s! IHOP here I come!
