DeviantArt is a revolutionary in the field of app creation. They came up with a brilliant plan: "what if, instead of making the app better with each update, we keep making it slightly worse?" And thus, this app was born.
A list follows.
- scrolling too far in any place slows the app down significantly, to the point of it being plain unusable. This is true in particular for scrolling through an album in someone's gallery.
- Sometimes images load in full resolution. Sometimes they don't. You just have to hope the image you're trying to view will load correctly. This happens mostly with larger images. This is not a problem with internet connection by the way, on the website the images load fine.
- It is sometimes impossible to view the description of a deviation. It just simply doesn't show up.
- Good luck trying to view any animated images lmao.
- You cannot exit out of viewing an image by swiping from the edge of the screen, while this IS possible for literally all of the rest of the app.
- Responses on comments show up like they are regular comments when viewing a deviation, which can be really confusing. Only after pressing the 'show all comments' button does it become clear which comment is a root comment and which comment is a response.
- Going through the gallery of someone who has more than a few albums is an absolute drain on performance and will very quickly crash the app.
Now to be fair some of these might be because of the fact that my phone isn't the fastest anymore, but if you require the newest iPhone there is to view a *list of images* there is simply something wrong with your app.

App became useless
App crashes as soon as I click on my own profile.
All mature content is blocked like I'm not logged in. Already tried to uninstall and reinstall the app...cleared cache etc. with no luck.
App has gone useless this way.
Posting art
Every time when i post new art on my profile it says “mature content” like literally EVERY TIME!! And my art is not like that :/

This app will ask your email if want to make an account if you use it for anything to sell that sort of stuff they will need to get your credit card info and third party information also if you do anything with premium service you will give your ip adress and when you were born and email
No edit function + other problems
The app works decently, the only problems I’m having with it are the following:
- When I remove certain notifications on my phone, they will still appear in the web browser version, which sometimes makes me really confused.
- Scrolling sometimes causes the app to crash if you do it too fast.
- The favorite button does not always work if you’re favoriting deviations too fast, after you tick on it a couple of times it will be saved in your favorites.
And my main problem:
- There is no editing function on the app version, which is super annoying once you find out you did something wrong, like wrong file or typos.. There are no problems on the web browser version (of course), but seeing it only happen with the mobile app is annoying since I can’t always be on my browser.

Horrible app
Just horrible, the feed seems to be repeating itself, I’ve been scrolling over the same few posts for what feels to be an eternity. The app recently received an update and it’s now impossible to either zoom in on a post, or to download an image. Why, just why?
