Dex - Rolodex and Personal CRM

I recently switched from Clay.earth to Dex, and it’s been a total game-changer! Dex outperforms every other personal CRM I’ve tried—10x better. It consolidates your contacts and messages across five channels into one sleek, intuitive dashboard. Plus, the reminder and frequency catch-up features ensure you stay connected with everyone important. Their customer support is incredibly responsive, and I’m seeing consistent improvements daily. ps i have gotten 5 of my friends to sign so far i’m their new champion customer

Sadly, this app didn’t do anything it promised to do, and was too glitchy to use. I couldn’t sync with LinkedIn either in the app or the website, in spite of successfully going through the right process and trying for several hours. No contacts loaded. I only have a few hundred to load, so that shouldn’t be a problem. And when trying to import contacts from my phone, the checkboxes to pick which contacts to import were so glitchy it made the feature unusable. When I would try to uncheck a contact I didn’t want to import, the app would uncheck a different contact instead! Or the checkboxes just wouldn’t respond at all. It was totally sporadic and maddening. It was impossible to select the right contacts to import. For the few contacts that I was able to import, the rest of the app was laggy and glitchy too. The map view wouldn’t load at all, even though a few of my contacts have locations. And the website loaded the map, but didn’t show all my contacts that have locations on it. I have the latest updated app and I’m on a fast WiFi connection with a good phone that runs all other apps just fine. I’m bummed. I was really excited about this product.

Can’t get the basic/free version unless you first put in your credit card info.

I was quite excited about this app after trying Covve, but I am quite disappointed about all the bugs. A lot of the buttons clicked don’t do anything, including the Google Action button when trying to sign up (I had to do it on desktop) and the import contact that worked once but not twice. That’s a lot in the first five minutes of onboarding…

Great concept but without two way syncing it just makes a mess in my contacts and deduper/sync still a long way to go… made a mess in my contacts that I’m still trying to recover from

Why make a mobile app if you have to use a computer along with the app?! Defeats the whole “mobile app” idea huh?

Amazing app. I’ll make it 5 stars once the card scanner works without crashing my iPhone and tags are added on the mobile app. I use tags heavily but mobile doesn’t allow you to see or add them yet. Overall, this is a great solution though for personal relationship management.

Dex is everything I wanted an more! It made it so easy to keep up with everything. It’s has powerful tools a sales CRM has but without the focus on sales. Managing my network has never been so easy!!!

So much promise, but too much failure in execution. I have lots of locations for my contacts - so I was very much looking forward to syncing. The app couldn’t find duplicates very easily - and then merging often failed. Even navigating the list of contacts doesn’t always work. Maybe someday - but not sure this is worth the time investment for shaky functionality.

This app is full of flaw, the LinkedIn sync function is a good idea but it never went well. It’s extreme slow when key in information. And the team is slow on development
