Dice Ex Machina Reviews

No FATE dice?

Maddz01 on

United Kingdom

Haven’t used this much yet (I’ve just got back from my main convention and where it was a pain lugging a dice bag), but there doesn’t seem to be support for FATE dice (2 +, 2 -, and 2 blank on a cube). I suppose I could use the d3 as a substitute, but it’s remembering which way the numbers translate.

Misleading

I wanted to roll multiple of the same dice because I need their individual values not the dice total no way to simulate rolling 10 dice for example and seeing home may were 4+

Good job very useful yes yes

Used it in a dnd game. 8/10 tbh. £3.99 to pay to change the theme. Madness if you ask me. Honestly made me angerey. I want to make it yellow

Great on iPhone, not so much on iPad

Doesn’t support slideover or split screen on iPad, which is a necessary feature for an app I want to use. Is it so hard to build it in?

I have no idea why dice are what tbh

I’m a new dnd player and I think it would be helpful if you put the highest number on the face facing the screen? Cuz I have no clue what dice are what on shape alone

Wonderful

Excellent!

Very cool little app. Nice convenient way of rolling dice and the dice sets are very handy too. One feature I'd like to see for the dice sets would be the ability to reroll dice, such as the great weapon fighting style in D&D5e.

BRILLIANT!!!!

All I want is to lower the price of the in app purchase

Good

Hell's Kittn on

Good, no farting around dice roller, tidy, quick, and intuitive to use, with a couple of nice touches like the badges indicating how many of each die type are used. Would like an option of the cumulative result as it is now, or to delay the result until I've input all the dice I want to roll them and press the "Roll" button. (perhaps play rapid clicks then, 1 per die, for sound effect) Also the dice screen hasn't got a re-roll option like the dice calculator screen like it oughta. ;-) Anyway, if you want an iOS dice rolling app, for D&D or whatever, you can't go far wrong with this one. :-)

Not intuitive

Just not intuitive at all, no tutorials or assistance built in. Not happy.
