Diigo Browser

I don’t want a browser. Why would I want a browser? I wanted a way to view my Diigo collection easily and - more importantly - a way to save to Diigo that works across apps on my iPad. Installing this gave me a ‘share to’ option (at last!) but then I noticed it had only been saving an image!? Not the URL. Maybe there’s a way to fix that but I can’t see it and it’s not intuitive. If I could find an alternative to Diigo I would be switching...

I used to love Diigo and have told so many people about it, but I always used it first and foremost as a bookmarking tool, NOT a browser. On Desktop (as a Chrome extension) it works really well, and the website needs some UX love but overall it’s decent and reliable. I also love the tag suggestions. However, on any mobile device it saves all items with just the URL and no proper title or description. More importantly, when I open Diigo, I am looking to see my bookmarks/saved items, not a browser. For that I would just use Chrome or Firefox. It’s very inconvenient having to go to a top hidden menu to access my saved items. Please change this and don’t compete with other browsers, we don’t need another browser.. focus on one thing and do it well!

Leaving 5 stars, but still has room for improvement to compete with instapaper as king of the "read-it-later" services.

Doing a masters thesis is hard enough work as it is but this app has already lessened the burden. The ability to download pdf and annotate them in the app is great though I'm having some difficulty accessing the notes for some reason or another hence the four and not five star rating and I hope this bug will be sorted soon! Otherwise just being able to read and highlight my saved pdfs is a big help as it makes me read things more carefully but also saves time in having to write everyone out which was my dissertation style last year. I'd recommend this to anyone who is writing a thesis that requires a lot of reading and annotating.

I'm a paying Diigo user. For now. Stop nagging me to rate this app after I've said no and later already. Let me go straight to the site I've saved.

I agree with a previous user that an app that prompts you to rate it before you've had a chance to use it is asking to be deleted. On the other hand, I can see that this service could be useful so I ignored the rating ask and created an account. Unfortunately I then found some of the issues with the app, and with the website when accessed from an iOS device. Being unable to rename outliners or delete them. This seems to me to be important functionality, especially when testing a service. Mistakes are made when testing. I wanted to rename or delete and outliner as I'd given it a name that was too short - just needed to add three more characters. No joy. Now I am tempted to delete the account and the app. I'm just going to give the support people time to get back to me, although I'm going to carry on breathing while I wait...

Nags for review before you've had a chance to use the app. I'm sorry, but there's only one response to that.

Nice product to boost productivity

The whole process for signing up is just broken. I spent over an hour between two devices - first just getting registered as a user. Then trying to start a free 30-day trial of the Business user - the billing system… my card expires in 2029, yet for some strange reason, the only years I can select from begin with 2016 and end with 2026. So I tried an older card that expires this year. That seems like it should work, right? Well, once I get all the way through that whole process and click the submit button, the page just loads for a few seconds and then nada. Like I didn’t even try submitting. I don’t know why it’s such a painful and extremely difficult process, but all I know is that this was my experience. I was really looking forward to beginning to use this utility. However, this whole process makes me second guess if I can really trust housing my data here or not.
