Customer support team had me on hold for over an hour when I asked to talk to a manager they put me on hold and not even two seconds later hung up on me. They took money out of my account that they had originally credited from Walmart and now they’re saying it’s from Publix Instacart so if they can’t even get their story straight then why would they automatically take money out of peoples account that customer never spent in the first place?
Please people find a different app. These people have the worst customer service,been scammed. Received a new card only to find out that my card # was used on eBay from another person. Brand new card never been set up. So it was an inside scam job from Direct Exspress. They are being investigated by the government. This has happened to many on SSI/SSD an amount others.
I called to report fraud they laughed another app that Scamed me and bank i have been robbed buy so prepaid cards
I can’t get it to even leave the front page. My card starts with 5332 so I have to use the other app but I pull it up and it just has the picture and I can’t get it to leave. I’m thinking about canceling my account because this happens just too often.
Do not use this app, and if you have a means of obtaining your benefits via a different account to have then deposited into, use that instead of Direct Express AT ALL. I can’t access my monthly benefits to pay my rent currently because someone canceled my card, ordered a replacement, and had it delivered to an address I have never lived at in another city. They say they safety, and security, is their top priority, but I’m sitting at a call log of 50 attempts currently to get through to someone so that hopefully this can be resolved and my family isn’t evicted right before Christmas. DO NOT USE
I received the letter at my current address, where I live from the company, stating that I would be receiving a new card within 45 business days. The card never showed up so I called the company to ask when I would be receiving the car. They told me that the card was sent to my old address where I lived seven years ago, she then told me that she could send me the card to my current address with Xpress shipping for $13 and I told her no I’m not paying $13 you sent it to the wrong address hence your fault. And why did I receive a letter to my current address stating I would get a new card then they send the card to an old address. Long story short, they charged me $13 anyways and sent the card express shipping and are refusing to give me a refund.
When there is an update the app does not even load
