Please Note: If your card begins with 533248 DO NOT download this app. Please look in the app store for the same mobile app logo with a short description stating that the app is for cards which start with the numbers 533248.
Direct Express cardholders will be able to do much more with this new mobile application on the go, including:

Terrible app never works . I used it for a few months maybe and not working again so done with the headaches

App refuses to open

My app remains on the start page and will not open I have restarted my phone and it still won’t open!

Card to bank transfer

The card to bank transfer doesn’t work. It wouldn’t allow me to select the option of putting the bank name.

This company is essentially a scam.

My mother had a DirectExpress card. Somebody hacked the card and took her money. They replaced the money, but they marked the account as a high risk. She was admitted to a nursing home and needed to access her card information because she had an expired card. She called direct express and they would not talk to her. We have tried every avenue to resolve this issue. There is currently at approximately $2500 on her DirectExpress card that we are unable to access and that they will not return. We have had to open a bank account in my mothers name and change your Social Security direct deposit to that bank account to prevent direct express from keeping any more of her money. This company is horrible and should be ashamed at the way they do business. They take advantage of elderly people. This has been ongoing for over two years. Shame on you direct express.

App won't open on iPhone

I'd say that at least 80% of the time, the Direct Express app will not open on my iPhone. Even if I go to the App Store and try and open it from there, it doesn't work. I can't tell you how many times I've had to completely delete the app, reload it, and start all over. This has been a problem for years.

Love this app

It’s great! Here is an idea in the app you should be able to see your card number and the cvs code too just a thought

Bad business

This is the worst app I’ve ever downloaded this company is getting paid for doing absolutely nothing to help the unfortunate people that have this bank card I recommend using a real bank

Won’t let me update at all

App is being a pain. Can’t even update.

Oh Not Again

Yes, this card works when it wants & NOT when I want it to work. Today I am unable to even check if my phone bill was paid but the card will not even open. So now and AGAIN I must call DX to see why my card won't load. No update nothing. What is wrong NOW? Call center here I come. I will say they have a terrific customer service center. Very knowledgeable & a delight to deal with. Once in a while, you do have to hang on but not too long. But today the card I have had for 2 years just refuses to work or even open.

Worked fine till I updated and now I only get a green and gold screen with a face
