Dized contains Rules and Tutorials for tabletop games, including card, board, miniature or RPGs (role-playing games)!
TUTORIALS teach you how to play games while you play! It’s like having someone at the table teaching you the game, so you to skip the rulebook and start the game immediately. This means you can fully focus on having fun with the new game, like Kingdomino, Blood Rage, ICECOOL, 7 Wonders, Carcassonne, Bang!, Fluxx and many more!
RULES provide you an answer to any question. Included is full game rules with a built-in FAQ and a search. No more tedious PDF files! Rules are approved by the publisher, so you know the information is correct!

Dized FAQ
Is Dized free?
Yes, Dized is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Dized legit?
🤔 The Dized app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I was a backer of Dized during crowdfunding. However, the initial batch of tutorials contained nothing of interest for me and so I kind of ignored it and went on with my life. That is until the newest game in the GLOOMHAVEN franchise, Buttons & Bugs, included a QR code for a Dized tutorial.
This evening I eagerly jumped into that tutorial. Things were going swimmingly until I got to the screen about Retaliation. Suddenly the forward progress button no longer progressed forward. It just dims when tapped and then brightens up again, staying on the same screen. Naturally I wasn’t able to finish the tutorial, and id really like to.
Great app but missing an important option
I love the app. Good tutorial and the ability to search a large manual is great.
But the app NEEDS A VOLUME CONTROL FO MUSIC. I can't stand the sound level when I am going through an interactive tutorial. Very distracting.
Surprisingly Good
Have only used the app to learn one simple game, but I was impressed. The instructor used a voice and persona that was appropriate for the game, and we learned enough of the game that my daughter and I where able to play without even opening the rule book!
Only trouble is I want there to be more games. I’m sure adding games is a process, but if the developer reads this I’d love to learn Brass Birmingham and The Great Wall.
Just wanna log in
Password never works. Always has error code. Not sure why, and when you click on the user game manual there doesn’t seem to be a way to get back to the app Home Screen.
Thank god for this.
Pretty amazing. Only gripe is audio cuts out if Bluetooth or something connects to the device and the app will have to be restarted.
Doesn’t work - Tiny Epic Dungeon
Started tutorial, watched first 4 slides and app asks to ‘select number of players’ which you cannot. None of the buttons work. There is no keypad. Tutorial can only be restarted and not beyond the point of selecting players. Iphone13
Awesome app!!!!
Ths helps my group to learn the game faster and easier. Sometimes i take hours explaining. But ths tutorial helps me to have a good time a go straight to playing the game. I have a request.
Can you do a tutorial for:
- Root
- Oath: Chronicles of Empire and exile
- Twilight Imperium 4th edition
- Lost Ruins of Arnak
Pls ths will help my group to enjoy ths heavy games. Again Awesome app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m impressed!
The tutorial implementations have been top notch! Makes learning a board game much easier. It even includes solo instructions, which are sometimes hard to find. Will definitely look for tutorials here before looking at videos.
Paid tools don’t fit iPad screens
The tutorials are great. However the tools in the paid subscription don’t fit on an iPad screen. They fit the wider aspect ratio of phones - and it looks like an attempt was made to use one size to fit all, because there’s a lot of side margin space for the tools on phone. But It’s still too wide for a standard aspect ratio tablet. Would appreciate a fix since I already paid for a yearly sub. Also, posting this here because the “feedback” button in the tools did nothing.
Ads??!!
Ads in an app to teach you how to play the game you already spent a ton of money to buy? Hint to your marketing department: nothing makes a person NOT want to buy more of your products than having this crap shoved down our throat. Stupid, company centered decision instead of customer centered.
