Doctor Who: Hidden Mysteries

Don’t have to be a genius This is fun and the scenery is beautiful. Plus it doesn’t nickle and dime you. Really appreciate the creators. Thank You!

Doing the new Him game. Got to the second stage, second game, finished it and game locked up on me. It gave me the exit screen and I choose exit. Screen locked. What gives. This happened before. I live the game but I’m locked.

It’s kind of stuck in limbo while the dr is working on making the game worth playing… I guess. Glad this is an arcade game and I didn’t have to pay for it otherwise I would have been disappointed.

I’m really enjoying the game so far. I’m a fan of the 13th Doctor, so having her and Yaz as the main characters is great! I like the different skill levels, the hidden object games, and the storyline keeps me interested.

This game is much too slow to respond to taps on the screen and move the characters between parts of London. I’ve played similar games and as soon as I tapped an item it would disappear and in this game I had to sometimes tap something multiple times for it to finally take a few seconds for it to go away. If you want people to play for longer than a day, it has to get 10x faster.

While waiting for the game to continue, there are many special events to play. On the last two special events I can get a few levels in when the game refuses to let me play any further. When I click on the play button, the screen is grayed out though the countdown clock keeps on ticking. I have reported this to customer service but have not received any response at all. The newest special episode was able to be played from beginning to end. Hopefully this will continue. You are now able to pick your own expertise level, which is nice.

Special events freeze. Complete the game and nothing happens. Clock stops and have to force close. Try again and same thing happens.

This week’s challenge episode (July 14, 2023) stopped working. I finished a puzzle, and it won’t load the next one. It just hangs.

Lowering the rating. I waited patiently for them to fix the bug preventing people from finishing the story line, which they eventually did, but the two new event stories (so far) that they included with the update are both broken and can’t be finished. The latest one only lets you get a little ways into it before it freezes up and I can see from the reviews that others are having the same issues, so the problem isn’t on my end. It’s a shame, because it’s an enjoyable game when it actually works.

I play this and then it just stalls. I finish a round and then it stalls out. It won’t go further. It has done this before. I waited a few days, went back and it cleared up. But this is getting tiresome.
