DOGTV FAQ
Is DOGTV free?
Yes, DOGTV is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is DOGTV legit?
⚠️ The DOGTV app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The app seems to be broken. I attempted to sign up and it created a profile. My subscriptions in my settings shows that I’m subscribed to the $9.99/month plan. However, when I go to my account in the app, it shows I’m not subscribed to anything. When I try to subscribe it gives me an error, and when I try to restore purchases, it tells me that I have no previous purchases.
It’s Great
It makes our lives much easier. It helps calm my dog when she is stressed and gives both my dog and cat additional stimulation during the more boring parts of the day.
No longer supports offline play
Loved this app however no longer supporting offline play is a dealbreaker. I sometimes do some cabin camping and would download some episodes to play while I’m away. This app is no longer useful to me
App is glitchy
We love dog tv, but the app is such an issue on our Apple TV. It’s slow and lagging, the menu at the bottom of the screen won’t go away, it just blinks which may not bother the dogs, but it’s annoying for me. There’s no way to manually remove it. The livestream is what we mostly watch, but the app is so glitchy we are thinking of cancelling because it’s nearly unwatchable.
We have downloaded and installed all updates but the issues persist.
No… just no.
This is worthless. There is a livestream or 4hr blocks. The livestream is ridiculously lame, and the 4hr blocks are too short for our needs and can’t be stacked. Not worth the money for us.
Nightmare of 4 months!
If I could give this dog app a zero star I would. I signed up as trial thru Roku and the app doesn’t even loop in the background as it says it would. Cancelling the fee withdrawals is a nightmare as there’s no option to cancel subscription in the app, Roku and there’s no website. Just some bogus athletemaker ghost site. Had to get my bank involved to put stop and refund.
My Cat LOVES It!
Funny thing, I leave it on every day for my dog, who has separation anxiety! It helps him a little but our CAT ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT!!! She jumps up on the coffee table and sits in front of the TV blatantly watching it!! I wish I could upload a picture to this review! It’s hilarious!!!
Love the app / signs me out
I love love dog tv. I put the live stream on and it plays all day. I got it because my dog would bark when I am not home. No complaints from my neighbors since getting it. However, it keeps signing me out. It very frustrating to have to keep signing back in every week or so! Specially on my Apple TV. Please fix and would be five stars
The app is so bad, needs bugs to be fixed.
Whenever I play the live stream there’s always a stream bar on the screen and it would go away. Also many people mention having issues on Apple TV. I almost bought a year subscription, I’m so happy I didn’t.
Expensive
I got this app and was excited for my dog to try it out but realized you have to pay for EVERYTHING!
