Dorian: Comics Game Platform

I love the art style and the characters so much!! 10/10 would recommend

It’s different to other apps I’ve seen like this. Wish the hearts were easier to get though

I’m only on chap 3 and I’m loving it but anything remotely saucy you gotta pay a bunch and then when it said I needed 3 points to unlock a free spice and it said I didn’t have enough even though I had 4??? Then at the very start after he introduced himself Rhin’s name disappeared?? A few bugs and it’s a bit disappointing it’s just ended up like a rip off of Episode. I do like it tho, the art is repetitive but it’s gorgie so it’s fine.

I originally downloaded this app because I love The Arcana and Dorian adopted the game but there’s a SERIOUS problem with this app. In pretty much every story you have to spend in-game currency (hearts) to make choices but the prices are insanely high and there’s no way to actually earn enough. You can get a couple hearts by inviting friends but that will only get you as many hearts as you have friends willing to download and make an app. The other way to get hearts is to win them in livestreams which always happen at really inconvenient times (like 1pm). From the games I’ve played 40 hearts is the average price for a choice, which is INSANE. The Arcana app requires in-game currency but it’s managed so much better. Yes, there’s the option to buy it with actual human money but you can also watch a few ads (something that’s not possible on Dorian) or earn them by playing little games (which are ACTUALLY fun). Aside from the money issue, I genuinely think Dorian has promise. There are a lot of cool, creative people posting stories on the app, it’s just not accessible to people who can’t pay $10 every time they want to make a choice in a game. I think adding more ways to earn hearts or putting a limit on how many hearts can be charged for a choice would GREATLY improve the app for current users and bring in more people.

I really like the stories on the app the only problems I am having is that it won’t let me login which I’m a little bit worried about because I’ve spent money on it and it’s a little bit laggy for some reason and it’s not because of my Wi-Fi

I’ve had tons of fun playing the stories and joining the lives and the community is super sweet!

I love Dorian as a writer because it allows me to craft interactive stories/games effortlessly with a drag-and-drop interface, and refine them post-publishing with user analytics - enhancing my ability to monetize. As a reader, stepping into the protagonist's shoes and directing the storyline based on personal preferences is genuinely cool. With options to pay for specific outcomes or navigate through free story paths, it’s definitely worth exploring.

Seeing all my fav creators create on Dorian really lifts my day! Works like a dream and I can’t recommend it more! 😄😄😄

I downloaded Dorian because I wanted more Arcana content, but it’s not worth it, all they have is the prologue, which I can already play in the arcana app + the app forces you to have a women avatar and still shows stories with women mc’s even though I set my preference as men mc’s only. Lame app, 1/5
