I like the idea of this app and that’s about it. It’s extremely expensive to buy hearts and while I understand this goes to independent creators, actual physical novels cost less than accessing extra content on this platform. So much of the art is reused and the number of typos, bad grammar, and frankly bizarre word choices for some of the characters makes me think this is all very rushed and the creators are out to gauge people.
I do not recommend using this app and have deleted it since it’s so poorly made. It freezes constantly, is glitchy, and the stories are boring if you don’t pay to access extra content. Which is clearly intentional. It feels super slimy and I won’t be returning.
The usual: Hearts
I love this game, like so so so much. I know that it’s not good business if they give away hearts for free, I just wish they had like an ad function. Watch an ad for this many hearts, kind of thing, you know? It would just be helpful and make them money.
Shark bait
it is amazingly written, and there were so many different ways the story could go. i love it
App Has Sexual Content but is Advertising to Minors
This app got advertised to me on TikTok and while I was expecting a normal dating sim experience, the live stream function is full of children. These stories are sexually explicit in nature and clearly geared towards a mature audience but there is no age verification when opening the app. Being advertised on TikTok which is also notoriously full of children this app is showing minors sexually explicit content where these minors are now engaging with each other in inappropriate ways and behaving sexually on the live streaming function. Nobody seems to be mentioning this blatant flaw with this app and it was extremely disturbing and disgusting to witness.
too expensive
i understand that the hearts pay the writers but a fan fiction quality mobile game should not cost more than professionally made games you can purchase on the computer or a physical copy. a single choice can cost as much as $7 and you get multiple heart choices in one episode which means a single story can cost you more than $200. there needs to be options to earn free hearts by watching ads just like every other mobile game has. very little opportunities to earn premium currency.
Stories are great, but only if you pay a lot
The artists and stories on the app are great but pretty much every other scene is an “exclusive scene” and if you don’t want to pay for it the stories don’t flow properly and the scenes don’t all make sense. The give you the opportunity to earn hearts (about one to two at a time) and then each bonus scene is about 44 hearts? It’s either pay or have a really, really frustrating time trying to play the game. Not worth it unless they make earning hearts easier so you don’t have to use your own money every single time. Yes, it’s a gift to the artist and optional, but if every other scene is a required “gift to the artist” it’s just an expensive game and should be marketed as such. Misleading and disappointing
The first episode does not disappoint
Okay there are in app purchases obviously but the first episode of shark bait doesn't disappoint so cute and spicy 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I'm very happy and already invested. I look forward to the rest of the story and the decisions are cute 🥰
really expensive
it's really expensive we should be able to earn hearts
Pay to play
I got this app because of some TikTok ad. And I was genuinely excited, but it turns out all of the fun thing you can do. You have to use “Hearts” to do them(hearts being the in game money). I couldn’t go my first episode, after downloading, without the better options needing to be paid for. I would love this app if it wasn’t so money based. I get 1 an episode, but I was getting 3 to 5 things i had to skip bc I didn’t have hearts(because I just started).
Well written and beautiful art
So far everything I’ve seen is well written and the art is gorgeous!
The stories really catch the attention and the fact that we are able to support the authors is wonderful!
