So helpful!! Makes it easy to get the hang of it, but the reading phrase practice quiz I think is buggy, every time I try to select a phrase the app crashes, would be complete five stars if this was fixed and didn’t have to restart everytime a learning session is selection, would be cool to have a “shuffle” option for everything!!
I just started learning Japanese and the association make learning letters SOOOO much easier. Excited to continue learning!
I’ve been learning languages with Duolingo during the pandemic. The hiragana were tricky to learn so I looked for a good app. The mnemonics were simple, funny, and I just got a perfect score on the quiz with all 46 characters - all within 2 hours of downloading the app. There are some simple fixes I’d love to see, such as when you see how to write the character you can’t continue scrolling after you get back. The app is perfect for its purpose. No subscription either which I love. Very happy I downloaded it!
Very disappointed with this app. Its poorly made, the mnenomics they give are horrible. They don't even teach you anything about Douten, Handakuten, etc which is essential to learning Hiragana. They only give a chart which is BTW the way not easily accesible from the first screen. I want my money back. Seriously, there are better resources out there don't buy this app.
I have been trying to learn hiragana for twenty years and never retained more than a few symbols. After two weeks with this product, I know them all. This is because I am a visual learner and really click with the way this app presents the symbols as mnemonics: pictures I can remember. RA looks like a RAbbit, NU like chopsticks with NOOdle and so on. Brilliant!
If you are serious about learning the Japanese language and not just a few sentences then learning the alphabets are key. This app makes memorizing the alphabets fast and easy.
I have used this app, I don't think it worth more than5 dollars. Only have some very simple and useless sentences. Some cartoon character seems to be helpful in remembering the word but not much. I'm expecting more sentences, but they try to get you buy more of their products.
I like the helpful pictures that they added to the characters. It makes them much easier to remember because you now can use mnemonics to remember that character. I'm sold.
Learned this alphabet —as well as Kata — in 30 minutes TOPS. Very straight forward and extremely helpful!!!! THE best Japanese alphabet app you will find. Completely worth the fee.
This app makes learning Hiragana VERY easy and quick. The pictures are fun and simple, and they really do stick in your head after practicing the quizzes a few times. I have no regrets from buying this app :)
