What a dreadful game…
I had high hopes for a f2p 3d dungeon roguelike. Such a pity how bad the core gameplay is and I hope there could be a fix for such a nice idea. - The destructable walls are horrible. What is the point of a dungeon crawler if every wall can be taken down with any weapon? Already in first minutes I accidentally destroyed outer walls and managed to jump down, since how could I know it would be even possible. - Killable npcs make no sense. I mean I guess if someone wants to do it… sure. But it’s a pain when they spawn randomly on middle of other mobs and die so easily and by accident. You should make them spawn more rarily and to have their own room for safety. - I only played few levels but I never understood if you could actually drop items from the inventory. If it’s possible then atleast it isn’t very easy to make some space for a good loot in mid of combat. Tbh I was already enough frustrated about the game that I didn’t want to use more time to look at the menu. Also the invemtory was really small regarding that all your gear have durability and you want to have as much spare equipment. I don’t know if the inventory can expand. You could have separate storage for some one-use items like food or scrolls or health potions etc. The stuff that is needed often and keep dropping a lot. - The combat system felt really flimsy and stiff. The best I could do is walk near some enemies, hit attack and hope to hit. Trying to use shield or rolling just felt much harder and unneeded. This is the essence of the game after all should be perfected for the game to be any good. And these are just the problems I had in the first 15 mins of the game. I hate to give such a low review since there seems to be a proper effort for aesthetics, versatility and even some story. I hope you can make it the game it deserves to be.
