Trying to redeem gift card is the hardest i already tried multiple time to redeem at least a $5 amazon gift card and it wouldn’t it stated all sold out how bad this app is can’t even redeem

I have used Drop for many years. It used to be worth it and redeeming points for gift cards was very easy. I have been trying for months to redeem my points, which has been hard to do since they only offer at 1 pm on a Thursday( in the middle of a work day). Today I tried to redeem and it said they were sold out at 1:02. It’s impossible to redeem points and I would not recommend to anyone.

Used to love this app before they started using people’s information with nothing in return and will only allow a certain number of giftcards PER WEEK. The drops happen once every Thursday and I literally set an alarm. It counts down to the giftcard drop and I immediately within one second click a $5 giftcard. I wait a couple more minutes for it to tell me “sorry, check back again next week.” I am becoming convinced they actually don’t have ANY giftcards to give away anymore. I’m quite disgusted honestly

I have been logging on for over a year trying to get a gift card with my points. I’m in 10 minutes for the countdown and have even randomly selected cards. I don’t have a PlayStation but I have so many points that are doing nothing but collecting so why not try for something useless. I think it’s best to close my account and lose the points because they track and sell your data and all you get are useless points. I have enough for more than one card too but this seems like a scam. Over a year of trying to get a card, and sharing my banking information, that’s really fishy. Not a mutual partnership whatsoever.

No longer able to redeem gift cards. They created a system to make it look like you have a chance to redeem but it’s sold out instantly which doesn’t make sense Do not download this app, you’re basically giving them the ability to track your purchase habits wit 0 possibility of compensation

The quantity of the gift cards are probably ridiculously low. They sold out instantly. You will never be able to redeem your points. Updates: Every Thursday 10 am sharp for past two months, still not able to redeem. At this point, this is basically a scam.

This app is a full-on scam. You will never (I repeat never!) be able to redeem the points. They hook you in and don’t let you use your points. Don’t download this app.

Impossible to redeem points as the limited gift cards get “claimed” immediately. I’d be surprised if there even are gift cards in the first place. I don’t even want to know what they’re doing with the financial data they’re tracking. I used to get actual rewards years ago but I’m deleting my account now.

This app used to be amazing. If you shop through their portal and link your payment card, you get points. You can then spend your points to get gift cards. After 2022, my cards constantly become unlinked to my account. I have yet to be able to get a gift card through the app as they limit the exact day and time cards are available. It’s like the hunger games trying to get redemption. I have a ton of points which I can’t even redeem. I don’t get it. I emailed their help desk and you get the same run around answers.

You can earn points easily. However, it is almost impossible to redeem points. So not waste your time with this app. Earn cash back with Rakuten.
