*You must own a Synology NAS to run this app. To get the full features of DS cloud, the version of the Cloud Station running on your DiskStation should be 4.0 and above. Versions starting from 2.10.4 would only support iOS 8 and onward*
DS cloud is the mobile counterpart of Cloud Station on iOS devices. You can select the folders on your DiskStation that you wish to sync to your mobile devices, and make them available for offline viewing anywhere you go. DS cloud also allows you to decide how you'd like to sync: you can set the maximum file size as well as the types of file you wish to sync for each folder.

Wersja przestarzała
Brak aktualizacji aplikacji, serwer NAS Synology nie obsługuje tej wersji z App Store, gdyz jest przestarzała. Ma 2 lata.
Photo backup not working
When i checked app settings.. it even dont have option to ask for access to photos.. so how on earth it could even work? iOS 14.0.1 So backup not working.. but you can look on files backup from computer.
Version nicht aktuell
Wenn man Zugang zu seiner nass hat, funktioniert. Aber nach einer Neuinstallation bekomme ich jedes Mal die Fehlermeldung dass die Version des DS Cloud nicht aktuell ist und ich es aktualisieren soll. Wie aktuell soll sie denn sein, wenn ich sie gerade heruntergeladen habe?
Nicht zu gebrauchen
Diese App verbindet sich nicht mit der Cloud. Entweder Kommt die Fehlermeldung „Netzwerk überprüfen“ oder „App nicht aktuell“ oder sonstiges. Dabei ist alles auf dem neuesten Stand. Ehrlich gesagt hatte ich mit der WDMycloud App nicht diese Probleme.
Pdf öffnen: Crash!
Seit dem letzten Update stürzt die App bei öffnen einer PDF Datei ab. Gab schon mal, wann gibt es hier das Update? Wenn es funktioniert, ist es eine Klasse App. Deutlich angenehmer als DS Drive, da hier normale Synchronisation von Ordnern und Unterordnen einfach funktioniert. Sachen wie Benutzerwechsel sind recht umständlich gelöst, Ds Drive ist hier aber dennoch um Längen schlechter. For Synology: I tested Synology Drive. This app is not powerful - it is very cumbersome. I won't use them. If there are no more updates for DSM 6.2, or a new app, I will change the system. Offline synchronization is the minimum requirement for a mobile app. Access to synchronized data should not be hidden behind countless menus.
App lässt sich nicht mehr starten Dank Touchid Bug
Nachdem ich einen Passcode für die App aktivieren wollte war dummerweise der Schieber bei Touch-ID aktiviert. Dumm nur dass ich ein neueres iPhone mit Face-ID habe und seitdem die App nicht mehr gestartet werden kann. Echt unmöglich. Jetzt muss ich alles deinstallieren und neu connected. Vollkommen unnötig…

Leider wird die App nicht mehr aktualisiert und ist damit unbrauchbar… Sehr Schade!!!!! App war nämlich sehr hilfreich..
