A good free alternative to Slay the Spire

If you don’t want to pay for Slay the Spire again, this is a good replacement. I’ve got the game on PC but for on the move, this app is really good and will keep you entertained while you’re out.

Great game, forced ads. Deleted!!

Sell me micro transactions, do not force ads. Shame, game looks great

Decent slay the spire clone

Yes it’s not quite as good but given that thing is a ridiculous £10 and this just has a few ads I think I prefer this one. And you can even stop those by turning off WiFi. Like many of these games it does suffer from occasional arbitrary death when the difficulty is ramped up, which can be frustrating. It also takes A LONG TIME to get the sorcerer which is their way of encouraging us to cough up some cash. All in all a good casual card bash. Also got the spire game on steam for half the App Store price. Why is stuff so damn expensive here??

Ummmm yes this a title

Well I think this game is great. Many people say this a copy of slay the spire except this is free and I can actually get this. Not too many ads( is that spelt right) and fun gameplay overall.

Don’t pay for ad-removal!

drmonkeychimp on

I think like most people I found this by searching for Slay the Spire which isn’t available on iOS yet but has been copied by other developers.... and I use that word cautiously. The “free” comes from the fact that of course you have to sit through ads which you can’t skip and if you don’t mind that then fill your boots. I bought the in-app purchase ad-remover for £3 and it didn’t stop the adds at all. I hope this is an honest mistake by the developers

Just needs more

This Is a great game. But it just needs more content and a difficulty setting.

A “heavily inspired” inferior game

ThrGothicDude666 on

This is slay the spire....it’s just slay the spire, it changes the names of the cards but that’s all it is. The difference here being you have to suffer adverts in between progression, hence how the money is made. You could do a lot worse for free at the cost of being bombarded with adverts you can’t skip, otherwise just support the original much better game made by people who put a lot more effort in.
