Like a personal physical therapist assistant
I’ve been using this over a year and simply love it. It’s like having an assistant physical therapist in your home, challenging you with a fresh routine and various stretches and exercises whenever you need them. With the app, I easily can do these anywhere. As I travel occasionally for work, it’s easy to knock out in a hotel room, with a towel as a band or rolled up as a foam roller. I like it more than Peloton programs for example, because it’s easy to navigate, great material with a structure over time, well organized, tailored to what I need (regular stretching, or a specific injury prevention area). There’s so much variety and content: my favorite section being the Injury prevention, which works great for those, like myself, with nagging injuries, recovering from surgeries, and working out old compensating muscle imbalances. I’m a very flexible guy, but this helps me focus - just like at physical therapy - on getting after the hard to figure out spots - those ones that can lead to injury. You might think: a year later and still need it? Yes! (Had 3 planned surgeries in the past year for one thing). I don’t have to hunt through dozens of YouTube videos - it just plays out each session, multiple moves. And it’s different! You DO NOT get muscle to improve by doing the same thing all the time: you have to “shock the muslce”, mix it up. That’s what makes this totally worth it. Also, I can train harder and more often thanks to mixing these dynamic stretches and injury prevention routines into my weekly plan. I simply feel better and perform better when I use the Dynamic Triathlete program.
