There are over one hundred additional Bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, lexicons, reference books and devotionals that you can download and add to your library absolutely free!

Also available are some "locked" resources which must be purchased from their publisher. These are copyright and licensing requirements which are unavoidable.

Please note that e-Sword HD is an *ENGLISH* release (but does include Spanish UI localization.) There are dozens of non-English Bibles available, but all other content is in English.

I love this app use it nearly everyday, also have e-sword on my computer. Love the fact that you can add additional resources, I find it easy to use and am blessed to be able to use it.

Very Good, I use as my every day bible with its various tools. A must for all use daily Would like to see highlighter have underlining as well.

Nice software that could still be improved

It's so good to have e-sword on iPad. Would be even better if it had keyboard shortcuts for external (Bluetooth) keyboards, such as: 1) Bringing up a scripture reference lookup, so you can type in the reference and press enter to go there; this would make navigation much nicer and faster 2) Use of arrow keys to turn pages [NB if you're deciding whether to buy this or not, you can try the pc version first (it's free) to get an idea of how much you would like to have this type of software on your iPad too]

This app is an excellent tool for studying the Word of God. I primarily use it for preaching preparation and better understanding the original meaning and context of the Scriptures (the Strongs Concordance was included in the initial purchase, I hope that never changes!). I highly recommend this product, it is stable, easy to use, very well featured, and has useful in app-purchases available.

Exceptional

I have used eSword for many years; it is on my three devices and is my close companion. I don't have enough words to describe the exceptional benefits and easy access it provides to the wonders of Holy Scripture. Couldn't do without it.
