Is EatMyRide legit?
🤔 The EatMyRide app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
It keeps saying Network error. My network is fine. Installed and uninstalled the app several times, over the last 3 weeks, problem stays.
Before that, the food plan looked nice, but no clue how to get it on my Garmin Enduro. Downloaded the watch app, but can’t install it. Watch and phone are up to date.
Niet makkelijk in gebruik.
App heeft goede database en maken van een voedingplan is makkelijk. Uitvoering op garmin is (voor mij) onduidelijk. Er zijn 2 garmin apps. Vraag mij af waarom 2 en niet 1.
Dasboard letters klein (ik heb screen zat op mn 1040 solar) en tijdens en race moet je vaak even snel lezen wat niet makkelijk gaat. Zou als verbetering willen aanleveren gewoon een pop-up (als bij de garmin klim aanwijzing doet) met “nu banaan” (of gel of iets anders) en als je weg klikt (ok) dan weet de EMR dat je hebt gegeten.
Moet nog wel wat verbetering ondergaan om een makkelijke functie te worden….
Verder is het idee geweldig natuurlijk…👍
Helps me to fuel
Before I struggled with taking in bigger breakfast before my endurance rides and forgetting intake on the bike. This app helped me a lot to adjust my breakfast over time and get reminders on the nutrition plan on my Garmin.
Great App!
Great app, it helps me to see what nutrition intake I need during and around cycling rides. What I like most is that both my nutrition plan and my carbohydrate burn data are shown in real-time on my Garmin device.
Trainingpeaks integration
Love the idea of the app, but Trainingpeaks integration isn’t seamless. The workouts do show up, but when you change the workout type the file gets corrupted and it stops calculating the food and water right
Goede tool
Ideaal om eten/drinken te plannen bij je trainingen, tochten en wedstrijden. Zorgt er ook voor dat je automatisch producten gaat consumeren die beter bij de voedingsbehoefte passen. Voor 5 sterren: Today’s Plan integratie zodat trainingen automatisch in de app komen en Wahoo integratie.
Useful advice!
The app works fine and once you’ve inserted your preferred food and beverage options it gives really useful advice on how often and what to take. Especially for longer rides I am amazed how much one has to eat & drink!
Mooi bij cyclo’s
voeding bij mij vaak een probleem bij grotere afstanden in de bergen maar ook tijdens de intensievere trainingsperiode in de laatste periode daaraan voorafgaand. Het lijkt een goed hulpmiddel om de juiste balans te vinden tussen teveel of juist te weinig eten. In combinatie met afvallen heb ik altijd dat het een aantal dagen goed gaat maar dat ik er dan achter kom dat ik net iets te snel ben gegaan (lees te weinig voeding heb gehad). Ik ga het de komende maanden pas echt gebruiken om straks de Alpe d’HuZes te fietsen maar vooralsnog prima. Zoals altijd moet je even aan het gebruik wennen en dat dus een kans geven. Jammer dat het niet ook gemaakt is voor ipad.
Perfect in optimising my nutrition intake for optimal performance!
The EatMyRide app helps me to optimize my nutrition intake during the day. I fill in my planned training into the app in the morning, to optimize my calorie intake during the day and to be fueled for the start of my training. During the training the app reminds me when to eat and to drink, which is very useful, because it’s easy to forget during the training. This is especially useful for the longer rides, to be sure I have enough energy until the last kilometers. And it helps me not to deplete my energy level too much, so I feel strong for the training the day after.
And afterwards the app helps me to determine how much to eat to recover well.
This all helps me to prepare in the best possible way for my main goal this year: the Marmotte Alpes.
