ECG Guide FAQ
Is ECG Guide free?
ECG Guide is not free (it costs 99.00), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is ECG Guide legit?
🤔 The ECG Guide app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
I wanted to interpret my ECG so I bought this app. It wasn’t saying anything about uploading ECG and interpreting it. So I got confused. After I bought it’s just like medical booklet for ECG which normal people won’t understand at all. So app is not bad but they need to clearly say about what exactly its for and it’s not for normal people.
A cardiology resident’s best friend
I am a Med/Peds rural ER provider. This has helped me over the years. Thorough and accurate! Plus it has a quiz function to test your knowledge.
Excellent resource
I’m an acute care NP working in a cardiology practice for twenty years. ECG interpretation is something I do multiple times each day. I like to have reference resources and I think I’ve tried most all of those available from the App Store. ECG Guide remains my go to for its accuracy and clarity.
Please Update
As a Physician Assistant I find it offensive PA is not one of the professional options listed when signing up for the app. I interpret EKG’s daily... I really wanted to try this app, but instead will be deleting it.
Content is fantastic; UI looks comically large/blurry
The app UI looks blown-up and fuzzy/blurry. Apparently they're taking the low resolution UI built for the iPhone 5/5S and just scaling it up to the iPhone 6 screen. Looks terrible. The app ought to be displayed at native resolution.
But the content is absolutely fantastic. The best EKG app out there, and I've downloaded nearly all of them.
Nice and concise!
For those that rated it poor- if u were expecting it to be a text book- u should buy one. This app is excellent in review for both for the seasoned and new nurses. It has an interactive view and quizzes. Good job! I have been a nurse for 18 yrs. now specializing in pediatric CVICU.
Perfect Resourse
Easy to follow. Great resourse for reminders on daily ECG reading!
Good for reference
App hits quick and easy to read reference material. Covers basics, but is not designed for first-time EKG learners. Have found highly useful for reminders when reading real ekgs.
ECG Guide
I was disappointed in this application. It starts out explaining the basics as I was trained in medical school but once past the 2nd page the writer goes into details that have nothing to do with "basics". ECG reading is not really difficult but there are a lot of steps, if the writer had stayed with the basic steps and once explained then go into the more complex waves it would have been a good solid application. Could be used as a reference, if you have time to go digging around for what your looking for.
Postitives: Never crashed (can be an accoplishment in itself).
Negatives: Disorganized, tangential.
