Two stars deducted for no access to iCloud and spilt view
Can’t access to iCloud (it shouldn’t be difficult to add this feature nowadays) Suggest the developers add a split view for both raw text and markdown preview (more useful than inline preview in my perspective)
Customisable
Customisable I use OneNote before. Read the review on MacStories, I decided to try this app. Using markdown is easy and I can just swipe right to preview the document (act as reading mode). Snippet is a time-saving feature. I can type my defined abbreviation to paste the clipboard (type "ppp" to paste), insert the date. Or, Workflow enables me to add text colours (HTML code). Arranging paragraph is definitely essential as I type frequently everything down first and organise the content later. The selection can remains selected no matter the keyboard is present or not. Also, viewing the table of content is really a killer feature for me to overview the content. Renaming a file is simple. Just long-pressed the file name as if I can in Preview on Mac. Task paper mode helps me scheduling things and I can use the link `editorial://open/fileName` to jump to another file. Images can be viewed offline in the preview page, just a little bit complicated to insert though. Well-designed markdown editor on iOS. *** #Suggestions - Hide images/Sort files by types (say, Taskpapers place higher) - Long press a file to select, providing one more way as same as tapping the "Edit" - Import multiple photos (though I can use Dropbox app) - Long press "arrange paragraph" toggle to select (though I can use two-finger tap gesture/workflow) #Other Recommendations - Pinning files - Export from Preview - Style for Editor - Returning the original file if I tap the editorial:// link method - Support Siri "Remind me about this" - Gesture options, like triple-tap to search the content, pinch to fold - Show file name in the Preview tab title - Line numbers in the editor Thumbs up. @blacktc1995
