Ember - Temperatuurregeling

The cup built quality is nice, but for the price you would think everything should go smooth. Especially the app that CONTROLS the cup. After installing and pairing I can’t even log in to the app. This makes the cup way less functional and I am going to return the cup if it is not being fixed within a few days.

I don’t wright reviews but…. I bought my first Ember 5 years ago? I don’t remember exactly but it still works as it did from the start. That’s good news by itself. It’s the standard mug with saucer model. I have 3 now since I travel a lot internationally between 3 locations. If you don’t like cold coffee after you forgot to drink it or got busy this is the best thing after sliced bread or as I say the best gadget I bought. Why? Because you use it as a normal cup and don’t think about it ever again. It becomes normal to ALWAYS drink your coffee at the temperature YOU desire. Mine is 61 C or 141.8F. I use espresso or just coffee cups Machines no difference. The app is great in its simplicity, update a breeze and FAST. . I think I did one or twice in 5 years. SO, I write this because you forget after all these years how convenient it is to have warm coffee always, no matter what. The quality is the coffee for me stays fine enough when it’s kept warm by the mug. A barista probably would disagree but for me just a black coffee is good enough. The charged cup is good enough maintaining the temperature for let’s say 2 forgotten cups of coffee in an hour. That’s 30 minutes not thinking about your coffee… one must be pretty busy then ; ) Charging is fast in case your drink more in the morning or per day. I love it.

When you start using this cup, you will never want to be without it ever again.

I have been using the Ember mug for about 3 years now and can honestly say it’s the only cup I use, ever for a warm beverage.

The temperature preset screen seems to have broken down in the latest update

When i downloaded the app it was working fine, but after some time it just crashed and you can't get in the app anymore. You have to delete the app and reinstall it to make it work again until it crash again... you have repeat the cycle...

Why can’t I change the led color for indicating/reaching target temperature(solid color). I would love that option! It’s boring white everytime while it can view all colors!😬

App is not bad at all, intuitive, not too many useless functions. Quite like it. However lately I feel like my mug and the app are not connected because when I change the temperature(setting) in the app after pouring coffee in, the backlight (orange) of the app does not turn on and the led light on the mug disappears entirely after this. Bluetooth connection is there. I have to restart the app a couple of times to get it to work, which is annoying. Its been like this for about 2-3 weeks.
