I’ve had the Empower You App from the very beginning and it has changed my life! I love everything about it. Not a day goes by without me listening to a book, a lecture, a meditation and I’ve also done some of the courses - absolutely amazing. Thank you! Hélène D., Germany
I love the content and the idea to download some audiobooks for listening to them offline. But the app is programmed in a way that it is checking the subscription many times during usage and on every start up. So when you are offline (like in plane mode because you are on an airplane) you cannot use the app or the offline cringing because the app is trying to connect to internet in order to check your subscription status. I have often tried to start up the app and play the content and then switch offline -> this way you can listen to the offline content. But only for a while! Because whenever you pause your audio and want to restart it, the app is again checking your subscription and requests online access and is no longer usable. Dear hayhouse, I understand that you want to avoid listeners without valid subscription. But please: limit the check to once a week or even once a day! It is so annoying that I cannot listen to my audiobooks while traveling.

a great treasure chest for sure. The more painful that it doesn't work reliably. Downloads are not necessarily available when there's no connection to the web. When planning to listen on the road, you might want to check it's running before hitting a wifi-free spot on your journey. Also adds random stuff to the "continue listening" category, which can't be curated ... and more surprises. Hopefully it's gonna be fixed. In the meantime: building the own paper library.
I love the app. The books available are just what I need , in the moment , all rear! At night I even use it for falling asleep with meditations. It is easy to use. The timely part is making a decision on what to listen to. I have binge listened to an author. That was great!Thank you so much as driving, yard work and housework has been transformed!
