Not useful for finding care

<SpaceCat4857> on

Information is never update. Tried to call 3 different primary care doctors and they all didn’t even work at the facility that was listed in the app. The app will also tell you that they are accepting new patients when they are really not. The numbers they have listed are not even appointment lines. You have to he transferred about 2 times before you even get to a person with whom you can schedule an appt. Don’t bother with this app and call you insurance provider directly. Make them find someone in your network.

Helpful infirmation

Questions I’ve had about benefits and recent medical care charges were easily available on my phone at my fingertips! Claims have been processed quickly so I can contact providers with questions about billing costs I received.

The engage app could be improved by adding a favorites button or something similar so you can save and favorite doctors while still researching without having to add to care team.

Great group

I have always had a great experience with Dr Miller and her nurses. They are very nice, make you feel as comfortable as they can, and there is never a long wait.

Filters unreliable

Filters for provider search are much less comprehensive than on the Engage website, the number of providers it pulls up is also significantly different than the site. Filters also don’t seem to work correctly, only pulled up a single provider for the specialty I was looking for when nearly 700 providers allegedly offer it. Will be going back to the website, app is essentially unusable without working filters.

It’s the best healthcare app I’ve ever used. The layout and functionality just make sense. I love how I can see a list of all my claims.

Great app.

Could be better.

The app is helpful buts it’s frustrating to navigate. I want an easy, clear way to see what ways I can still earn points so I can get my employer rewards to help fund my HSA to help with the annual deductible. I can clearly see my progress level at the top. But there isn’t really one, easy navigable page or tab that showcases what items I still need to do to max it out. It’s scattered all over the place, both scrolling horizontally and vertically. When you are reviewing one you still haven’t done or don’t qualify for, but then click back, it takes you back to the beginning again so you must start all over again. Also the log manually for food and/or activity is figuratively torture. Make it easier! Not all of us have fitbits and Apple Watches & they don’t support food tracking apps. Having to log in multiple days is such a pain. Please add a Next or Previous Day at the bottom so one doesn’t have to always scroll up. The other frustrating thing is the way to earn all the points for the full rewards & max out your HSA. The app seems to reward you more if you are unhealthy and already have diabetes or high blood pressure. Most of these high point options don’t apply to me. So I have to manually track my sleep/eating which is 5 or 10 points. Hardly anything. Almost every year I lose free money since I can’t max out my points. Vs if I had diabetes or hypertension I could get 500 points by enrolling in those programs which I’m sure they also send a large bill to the employer as well.
