About the English test and certificate
The EnglishScore test is delivered on a mobile phone, so it requires different security measures and rules.
We use security features such as face monitoring technology through your smartphone’s selfie camera. You must be alone in a quiet place with your whole face clearly in the camera during the test.
These rules help give you and organisations confidence that your results are accurate and reliable.
To take the test and purchase a certificate, you will need to turn on your test security.

Cancellation of the test

They suggest me take a brake almost in the end of the test (without any timers) and then they cancel test on which I spent 30 mins because pause went too long (around 4 minutes). Sounds like a joke

Hi everyone. I have to write that I finished course STEP but I couldn’t pass my test because of English score wasn’t been updated in my up. I feel sad now I really wanted to know my results after learning course but unfortunately I can’t. I have written to supporting so many times but it wasn’t successfully. I hope someone will read it and help me with this issue.

Speaking test

When I tried to do the test with a code, I wasn’t able to give the answer because the app wasn’t working properly. So could not listen the task and recorded my answer. So I did pass the test.

Needs large display

Tested the app on iPhone 13 mini. Some buttons are displayed only partially and others must be outside of the visible area of the screen.

Very practical and useful

I did all three tests today. It's a splendid experience. Is there anything I can do to improve my scores? I will find out when I give an other try. But I am happy with my score and my level of English. Now I am more confident after this score I feel like I want to improve further.

App won’t open

Hello, I’m on an up to date iPhone 13 Pro Max and the app doesn’t. It goes to open and then immediately closes. I’ve deleted the app and restarted my phone so I think it’s an app issue.

Spelling error

Hard to trust an app that’s supposed to test your English when the first thing it tells you on the test is to “be in a quite place”…
