We are witnessing what I believe is the last money grab of this game. Everything can be bought now. The game went from a few things like gems and cosmetics being available to literally everything. Want to buy a character $$ done want to buy the best gear for the character $$ done, want to buy costumes $$, want to buy a battle pass $$ done, want to have 3 ads every time you open the app forced in your face $$ done, want to buy more arena try’s $$ done, want to buy a second battle pass that goes at the same time as another $$ done. Yeah you heard right they have double buyable battle passes at one time…

Unplayable since PC client launch

Ever since they implemented the PC client I haven’t been able to log into my account on any device for more than a minute or two. Not only that but the PC client won’t use my facebook log in to log me into the game and that’s how I’ve logged in since day one. Ready to quit and uninstall

Pedo baiting

This game used to be so good and now literally all it is is loli and pedo baiting for creepy weirdo incels with no lives. Y’all literally sexualize MINORS. SCHOOLGIRLS. Be ashamed!

Needs to add a new collaboration

With all the collaborations they have had, I am surprised they haven’t done one of the Shield Hero. It so would help and be amazing!!!!

PvP is unplayable. Power is in full swing. Save your time and money and don’t play this game.

5 stars on mobile, but…

Started playing at launch, left and came back years later to a game that changed but is still a lot of fun, generous in gacha terms for those who are f2p, and with a team that is dedicated to giving us more content and balancing (they try their best, but the current meta is a power-creeping, new-units-released-are-top-tier-until-the-next-unit-release type of deal). The game gets 5 stars on mobile, and it runs well even on slightly older phones that I’ve tested. But if you want to play on PC, wait until they figure out how to work it properly. Launcher issues, program not responding, unexpected crashes, etc. While they are aware of these issues, be patient and stick to mobile play for now because it can be extremely frustrating. Tried on a couple of laptops and desktops with different specs and the same issues. Give them credit when the PC version works, because when it does, it works beautifully.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This is without a doubt the worst balanced, worst designed, most RNG heavy piece of garbage around. Every single system in this game is a slot machine. Upgrades, crafting, combat, you name it and it’s entirely RNG dependent. The devs are so incompetent it’s unreal. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME.

Fun but fustrating

I have enjoyed this game for its plot for years. The “play the anime” tagline has meant something until chapter 4. Now it has lost its way. It is no longer about playing the anime and all about how to get micro advantages in armor upgrades in hopes to pass near impossible levels. Even pulling some of the best base characters and earning great base armor isn’t enough. Unless someone spends a lot of time hardcore strategizing how to upgrade armor in specific ways on specific characters, there is no path forward. Chapter 4-10-10 is impossible to pass for a casual player who loves the plot. I still play for the side stories, but after some recent updates those don’t even occur as often.
