The app is very limited, hasn’t been updated in year, no log history to review all past events, errors and issues. You need to be at location with app open on Bluetooth at the time event occurred to see what issue was. No actual notification as stated. No functionality to email the alerts or even send a report on the errors or units weekly function etc. This needs a major overhaul to be use full
Seems to work good, unsure why the app repeatedly disconnects from Bluetooth. Just a meer 10 feet away it is and shouldn’t be losing connection. Not sure what’s causing it, I’ve looked online to no avail. I’ll give it some leniency but if it keeps the unit on and the app drives me nuts I may look into progressive 😬🥴 I really liked this one too! 😕 We will see here shortly if it doesn’t have a fix I’m gunna look for a different one. 😕
Although I just recently bought and hooked it up, it seems to work ok. Problem though is it “Disconnects” ( as shown on the app ) but the power is still (or so it seems? ) going through it. Can’t tell whether it’s a Bluetooth issue, an actual power problem, a faulty new unit, or ????? No codes show up, the Dog stays lit (white), but keep getting notifications sent saying it’s disconnected. Will give it some more time before concluding. (By the way, I’m sitting in my coach with the unit no more than twenty feet outside the window. Dry temperature, windows closed, no other RV for interference or conflict)
Does the job…As it should for a $400+ unit! However…Would be nice if there was some sort of internal way of calculating watts, usage etc...it seems if you walk too far away from the trailer…it just resets when you are near again…also would be nice to have an option to mute notifications when the Bluetooth is disconnected…without silencing the whole app!
