ETHOS - Real Talk, Real You

I really think that this app is a game changer for young people trying to bring awareness to certain issues.

ux designer here...downloaded to take a peek, but journey felt unclear. there didn't feel like there was a point to interacting much after joining for me. bugs i saw after a couple mins of navigating: - it kept asking for my birthday over and over - refreshing was glitchy and jumpy - i felt sus putting my info in...may just be me tho - 60 day lock after name change for an app this early feels unnecessary and a little awkward; fixing a problem that may not yet exist for your users - no clear way to delete an account (if at all? this was the point where i decided to delete the app. not having that control makes the app feel sus) - no clear way to contact them to delete within the app keep it up tho! i really want some sort of social good app to take off lol T_T

You should definitely download this app! It makes me feel so much more self-aware and connected with my community!

I mean if I can’t even sign up what’s the point. Deleted and not recommended.

Ethos has been a welcome and refreshing change to my social media use. I’ve been able to connect with some very cool people who are open to discussing real world topics that I probably wouldn’t talk about elsewhere. Looking forward to seeing new features rolled out!

I needed one more person left for my temu orders and I decided to post my link on ethos thinking it was a positive community. They suspended my account because I “violated terms and conditions” when temu isn’t a scam or fraud app. It is a worldwide company that sells things, like shein. It is popular all over the US, UK, Canada, Australia and more places!! Next time, do your research.

I often struggle with other social media platforms and find myself comparing my life to my peers, however on ETHOS, I don’t have this problem. I love interacting with likeminded individuals, and learning new things daily. So refreshing to be on a social media app that actually feels good.

The platform brings together your daily dose of information which actually matters and saves you from doom scrolling the whole day and having to feel unproductive.

It’s so refreshing to engage with all the cool and insightful content on this app and post about the social causes that really matter to you. Feels like being part of a community!
