Everand: Ebooks and audiobooks

Good in most ways. But a couple of shortcomings: 1. After the sleep function has been used, it is often necessary to reopen the app entirely. 2. Unlike the earlier version, the contents list does not show which chapter the listener is listening to.

All the books I want to read are in audiobook format and it’s convenient for some types of books but not ALL. It would be great if both formats could be found

Been an avid user of scribd for a while now. Just hit the limit mark. Ridiculous, rule. I often read a book and listen to the audio of said book. Now, I’ve used my quota. Will finish the books I’m reading and then consider other options.

I saw on my bank statement I had been charged for this app so assumed my partner had purchased it and downloaded it for myself. Normally apple stops you purchasing apps a second time within a shared family group. But this time I was charged a second time. We still don’t understand how we were signed up the first time AND we can’t find a straightforward way to cancel. This is such a waste of time but I’m sure scribd will reimburse us for the hassle 😒

The words in titles when reading books jumble together without any spacing. Please fix this issue!

Great quantity of titles but….: The app often (3-4 times in a 30 hour book) looses its place in the audiobook and restarts from the very beginning. Furthermore, when listening in both my cars (on 5G), when starting the audiobook, the audio pauses and restarts 2-3 times before finally starting without pausing and often I will need to press play twice to get the app to start playing. I haven’t had these issues with other audiobook apps playing in the same cars using the same phone (iPhone 8) and listening to the same authors/book series/readers.

If you added a fading feature to The sleep timer, that would really approve the experience. That way the listener can glide into sleep. Many other audiobook platforms already have this feature.

Signed up through app, which went really smooth, but soon realised my desired reads were not available. How come you simply can’t cancel in the app, just as smooth as the sign up???

This has quickly become my go-to app for learning! One thing I would love to see an update on though, is the note-taking feature, as it seems to me a bit unclear which note is taken to which page/reference :-)
