The user interface on this went from bad to terrible after update. I’m fumbling around trying to figure out what an alert is telling me but I’m so confused. The good part is the underlying hardware and functionality is there and working well.

I went to use the app today and they did an update and I hate it. Very hard to follow and even harder to see- all the printing is very small. The older version was so simple to use this update is confusing. Can we go back to the old version????!

The App has finally been updated but the GUI is even less intuitive and much more cumbersome to use. We’ve been using the EyezON APP for about 2 years and although it’s appearance was not the best it was functional, reliable and easy to use. Now the functionality is somewhat hidden so the very first evening my wife used the update she inadvertently armed the system in AWAY mode instead of STAY mode. I spent time on the phone retraining her. Then this morning she was unable to arm the system in MAX mode when she left the house. The update works and I’m going to assume it will still be reliable and that users will eventually adjust to it’s awkward UI but it could be so much better. Enviscor has seen the need to invest time and money in their product but then failed to adequately review the result. Now the customer well have to live with these shortcomings.

System interfaces to my new Honeywell alarm system, but doesn’t send out the alarm notifications..

For starters the layout is ugly and confusing. Next is the use of what seems to be alarm lingo that might mean something to commercial businesses but a homeowner has no idea what a partition is. There needs to be more granular control over notifications. Currently it’s all or none. I want to know if the alarm is triggered but not every single flipping time someone turns the alarm on or off. It’s a huge nuisance The status is slow to update. After arming it still shows unarmed. Zones show up as active when there’s no one around. You have to force it to refresh. All in all it’s sorely needing many fixes.

The app definitely needs an update. The interface with features of modern phones is simply nonexistent. Other than that it does work functionality wise but just not intuitive or user friendly.

The app works as it should but it’s very outdated. An update would be much appreciated.

First, this crashes immediately. It’s unusable. Broke with some iOS update, not sure which one. I’m on 14 with an XS Max. Older review follows: Confirmed what another reviewer said: they can’t handle the characters in my password. From emailing my initial password in plaintext, the local integration supporting only 6 char passwords, to the mobile API being unable to support + or ! (not sure which), these are ugly warning signs of security incompetence. These guys are connecting my home security through their servers. Beware.

For anyone with a compatible alarm, the EVL4-EZR module that this app controls is a very useful device - highly recommend. The app however is long overdue for an upgrade. My wish list: 1) Facial recognition 2) Not having to walk through multiple menus to turn alarm on or off 3) Shorter initial startup - watching the EyezON logo gets old fast. 4) Better alarm status menu. The red zone indicators are very useful and quick but hard to remember what zone is what. 5) Widget - this should have a quick widget for the iPhone control menu
