Great app, I love the books and tv show option. One thing I don’t like is having to go through adding my birthdate and the genres of books/tv shows I like when I just want to log into my already existing account. The selection picking should be for “new users” only. Otherwise, lovely app.
If you’re looking for something that quick, efficient, with a beautiful UI and really good recommendation algorithm, I cannot recommend Fable enough. As readers, certain other book apps have been long stuck in the past with little to no innovation as to make the experience more seamless. So if you want to not be frustrated for once while browsing your TBR, and you don’t want to give amazon more money, this is the place. Integrating all your GR history is as easy as the press of a button, so there’s no hassle. And with book clubs and digital ebooks that everyone in your club can annotate and cute quizzes to determine your next read from your TBR, to compiling monthly reading wrap ups and updated reading stats, to allowing you to make TBR shortlists for your next planned read…yeah there’s nothing Fable has thought of. Genuinely love this app and props to the devs, you guys are clearly readers too and you know what we’re looking for.
After struggling and accepting that StoryGraph is the best app for buddy reading, I stumbled upon Fable and my world has been forever changed. Not only is the app pleasing to look at and use, the book club feature is EXACTLY what I was hunting for. It’s so enjoyable to read with others, and share your thoughts without the risk of spoilers. The support was also great when we found a book that wasn’t yet set up with chapter discussions, they had it ready for us the next day! I recommend this app to anyone who whispers of reading, and we’ll continue to scream its name from the mountaintops in support. Thank you Fable for being amazing! ❤️
ALMOST perfection. BUT I need sub-genres 😩 and I just need a TAD more ways to filter genres. But with all that said… I am confused why this app is not #1 in the “book app” category
as a bookish girlie who has no one to talk to about her books, this app has been a life saver and SO much fun! it’s like if goodreads and instagram had a baby - fable does it all and it’s beautifully designed. so happy i found this app, and thank you to fable for creating a book club component to this app - genius!
It’s a book social media platform that lets you talk about book, join book clubs and post book related content. I’ve been loving it so far. The community is really great!

Slow burn. Harder for me to get into but once I was in it, I was in it! I would definitely recommend!
Fable has quickly become my new social media addiction. The conversations, book clubs, reviews, recommendations, book lists, progress tracking are simply awesome. I'm in Canada and can't purchase the interactive ebooks but that's not a big deal to me. I love the app!!
Has the potential but is very glitchy and has trouble loading properly ... needs some work
